Yeah, thanks for the comment. It's not that I buy them JUST to break my PB. In fact since I got my current main (AoLong) I hadn't bought any new cubes for a while and I have been consistently beating my PB all the way down from 21.xx to 17.xx over time, some tenths of a second at a time.

But it is curious that every time I try a new cube I almost always make my best time with it on the 1st day and only much later I finally beat that again (but it can be like two or more weeks later). The fact that this time I took a whole second and a half (almost) off my PB on my 1st 10 solves with the ChiLong is just anecdotal and it won't necessarily convert it in my new main. Just wondering if there is some scientific reason behind this fact.

I also buy cubes because:
1) they are dirt cheap, compared with other things, at 4 to 10 $ each
2) I have a collector inside of me
3) I like the sensation of waiting for the new cube to arrive in the mail

I also cannot help but notice that you are faster than me and your signature says OLL 7/57 (that's 2-look OLL and nothing else) and PLL 9/21. I'm like OLL 50/54, PLL 21/21 even if I hate one of my PLL algs and would like to change it. :)

Ya, I still use 2Look OLL and PLL with 3 PLL's learnt(T perm, J perm and Y perm). I am learning Full PLL right now. F2L is what matters the most. I think this is more of a psychological thing. I felt happy when I upgraded from a Chilong to an Aolong and therefore got better times with it.

Choose algs which suit your style. Dont choose the most common one! That is my tip!

Should I get an AoLong V1 or V2?
Is it worth upgrading from a Weilong V2 to an AoLong?
What's the main difference between the Weilong V2 and the AoLong V1 or the AoLong V2?
Thanks!

There's an AoLong V2?

Also what's the difference between v1/2 if there is one?

A few minutes working with Excel reveals that Michael is the 8th most active member with 3.44 posts/day.

Only five members have achieved >4 posts/day since they joined. Grand prize for most shameless spammer goes to kclejeune with a whopping 6.84 posts/day. Runners-up are Username (6.42), TDM (4.49), TheNextFeliks (4.45) and rj (4.15). No surprises there for regular readers :D.

Note: I only checked users with >=1000 posts total.
Please could you do an update on this? DeeDubb has over 6 posts/day (but not more than 1000 posts) and Kennan has 7.55 posts per day... rj and Username have been less active too, so it'd be interesting to see how things have changed.
(oh and remember I didn't post until 13th May 2013, if that changes anything)

E: I would guess it would be impossible to calculate e.g. just 2014, because I think I have been posting more than 7.55 times a day, every day for a while... but if it is possible and not much extra effort, that would be interesting to see too ;)

I joined last September, yet only had like 30 posts until I really got more into speedsolving in February. Since then I've had ~780 posts, so like 3.9 a day.

Since May I've had 112 or something like that posts and 1.6x a day.

I mean ...like ....uh.... a perfect
fit there has to be equal space
between each sticker

Yes they fit, but I think you should just get aosu fitted stickers if you think that fitted stickers would be better to look at.

Question: Why is it that when I click 'submit reply', it thinks I'm submitting 2 replies and asks me to wait?!

Same thing happened to me, I just went ahead and posted, then just deleted the extraneous one.

EDIT: It happened with this post actually, I posted from the "reply with quote" box inside the thread, then it redirected me to the full editor and gave me that message. I hit the back button, and then refreshed the page, and my post was there.
