Depends on how the organisers decide to do it
Usually, we only submit our cubes at the start of the event, but there's nothing stopping the organiser from wanting us to submit the cube at the start of them competition

When doing 3bld with M2 for the edges, I'm having a bit of trouble with the M-slice.
When the buffer position (FD) has an edge that's supposed to go to BD, you're supposed to do M U2 M U2. Now lets say the cubie in BD needs to go to UF. You're supposed to do U2 M' U2 M'. Obviously, that cancels out the moves that you just did to solve BD. What am I doing wrong, and how can I recognize this during a solve?

U2 M' U2 M' is FD->FU not FD->UF, also after doing the previous alg, the piece will need to go to DB instead of UF (because centres are M2 slice out)

Is the stickerless Zhanchi (55mm) really popping that much out of the box? Every video review i saw about it popped like crazy. Please tell me otherwise..

Nope, in my experience the 55mm Zhanchi (or any Zhanchi really) doesn't really pop unless you don't know how to turn it. If it does pop out of the box then tighten it until you get used to it because it is a very fast cube. None of my 55mm Zhanchis pop at home but when I get nervous in competitions and don't turn as well, they do. But it's only happened twice :) Overall it's still a very good 3x3.
