Nope, in my experience the 55mm Zhanchi (or any Zhanchi really) doesn't really pop unless you don't know how to turn it. If it does pop out of the box then tighten it until you get used to it because it is a very fast cube. None of my 55mm Zhanchis pop at home but when I get nervous in competitions and don't turn as well, they do. But it's only happened twice :) Overall it's still a very good 3x3.

Thanks Tina, youre doing really a good job contributing to the community.

Mine pops occasionally if you do silly corner cuts, but for solving, it's fine.

For a 3x3x3 what would you say is the fastest method of solving?

Depends on which one you prefer. A lot, if not most people, use CFOP including the WR holders which doesn't really mean anything but many people find Roux or Petrus more intuitive and therefore it works better for them which results in faster times than they would get using CFOP. It basically comes down to personal preference. There is no one fastest method.

what is the easiest way to perform M moves?
sometimes i use my left index finger or just shift R and L to do it
but i was wondering if there was an easier or better way

I know this is going to sound weird, but wouldn't playing puzzle games (like bejeweled, tetris, etc.) help a little with look-ahead if you play them at high speed?

Im sure they would. Many things that are barely related can effect each other, like if you play football you might have quicker reaction time driving a car or something. Nothing will improve your look ahead as much as solving though :P

I'm getting faster at typing and texting because of cubing.

Me too, but it is probably because i post on the forums too much haha.

Me three! But I'm also a programmer so that may have something to do with it...Anyway I just wanted to chime in here and say that I used to play a lot of Tetris and I think to a certain extent it helped my look ahead. But of course like Rocky said, nothing can substitute practice.
