Does anybody else's Fangshi Shuang Ren feel kind of gummy and stringy? Mine is unlubed and not really tensioned to perfection yet, but I'm getting more lube this week and plan to make it as perfect as possible. I just want to know if it gets 'better' after being lubed.

Traxxas Differential Oil, 50kg weight is the lube I will be using. If you had a bad experience with this kind of lube and would like to recommend a different kind, please do. (:

From what I've heard, you should only use that kind of lube on the core, not on the internal surfaces of the pieces or it will become too gummy. Some maru on the pieces is fine.

What are the best algs for PBL in Ortega?
Adjacent/Solved: T perm
Diagonal/Solved: R U' R' U' F2 U' R U R' D R2
A/A: R2' U' R2 [U2' y] R2 U' R2' - I usually execute the middle bit as U' D', all with my left hand.
A/O: This one I'm not really sure about; I use R U' L D2' L' U R, but others use R U' L U2 R' U (R' or L'). But I don't like any of these.
O/O: R2' F2 R2

Adjacent/Solved: J-perm (if you can execute it correctly, it's insane)

I use:
adjacent swap: J perm that starts with R U R' F'
diagonal swap: standard Y perm (not the best, I think R U' R' U' F2 U' R U R' D R2 is better)
adjacent top adjacent bottom: pieces that need to be switched all on the back (so solved are on front) R2 U' B2 U2' R2' U' R2
adjacent top diagonal bottom: solved block on front R U' R F2' R' U R' (F2' is executed more like x' D2')
diagonal top diagonal bottom: R2 B2 R2'

I haven't really done cubing since Dayan released the next cube after the Zhanchi. I see so many new cubes. Can someone tell me the really good 3x3s that have come since. That would awesome.

On Yoshinator's yau video he says sub-minute = sub-20, sub-40 = sub-10, and I'm no expert but I'd say for 2x2 sub-3 = sub-10 and something like sub-4 or sub-5 =sub-20.

For 2x2 I'd say averaging around 5 seconds equals something like 20 seconds on 3x3. Each 5 seconds = 1 second going down from there so 15 = 4, 10 = 3 and anything lower is a case spesific scenario.

For 4x4 the 1minute barrier can definitely be seen as the 20second barrier. Sub 50 = Sub 15 or such.
