How do you recognise the last both layer cases when solving the 2x2 with Ortega? I seem to spend a lot of time looking for them. Currently averaging about 7s.
Also, are there any tips on how to prepare and "be in shape" for a competition which is in 1-2 months?

What is 2-look?

it's where you learn 2 sets of algs to finish CLL in 2 steps, or "Looks".
first you orient all the corners (7 cases), then you permute them (2 cases).

ideally you should know the case on the bottom layer during inspection, or at least before you start the 2nd face.
ideally for the 2nd face you should be able to tell what case you're going to get by recognizing the CLL case, but if not then you just need quick recognition.
when its an adj swap, obv there are 2 corners solved next to each other, but what also exists on adj swaps that doesn't exist on diag swaps is two non-opposite non-matching colors next to each other (orange + green, white + red, etc.)

Not sure if this is the right forum, but does anyone know where to buy a rubik's cube lanyard ? I have not found a single one for sale anywhere ! are they only rewards at championships ?
let me know ! thanks! :)

I decided to pull apart my WitTwo yesterday to clean it out and earlier today I assembled it. As soon as I started to turn it, the inner edges were grinding against something and little shavings off platic started coming out my cube! Its ounds really bad too. What can I do to fix this?

There are three edges which hold into the core. Make sure you have those arranged on different axes, while all touching the same three center pieces.
