What's this new X thanks in X posts thing and what's the purpose of it?

On the bottom right of each post there's this "thanks" button, I think it might be kind of like a "like" on facebook.

EDIT: and then the X thanks in X posts would be like in your posts, how many have gotten thanked. (not sure why it is at 0 though)

I think its like the Like thing but your saying thanks as a reply to an answer instead of actually typing it out as a reply.

G Perms

Hi,
are there any easy to remember G Perms (that don't use 2-look)? Also is there an easy way to recognize G(a) from G(b) from G(c) from G(d) (i.e. distinguishing G perms?)

Does anyone know which sticker set works best with white cubes? I know for me half brights work best on black, and I think that on a white cube the shades will differ.

Hi, I actually found G perms some of the easiest to learn. I used Badmephisto's guide (http://badmephisto.com/pll.php) to recognise - put headlights on the left, and you will either have your 2x1x1 block at the front, bottom right, top right, or on the back face. I don't know the cases by name, but there's really no need, position of the pair is enough.

Each G perm alg on Badmephisto's site involves removing one of the F2L pairs, then moving the U face away from the pair and the pair away from it's slot, then moving the U face back, then restoring the pair. Watch what happens to the pair you remove by following the algs. I still don't know them without watching the cube, but they're some of my fastest PLLs. There are faster algs, but these ones are really easy to learn visually.

Hope this helps!
