Hi guys,

I've been doing 3x3 solves for 4-5 months averaging around 20 seconds and I recently bought a 2x2 and 4x4. My question is how do you guys practice the different cubes ? Do you focus on one only until you think you've progressed enough and then switch to another cube ? Or do you practice every cube a little bit every "cubing session" ?
Thanks !

I just solve the puzzle I enjoy most at the moment, which can vary a lot.

I've been trying to learn Roux method for the past couple days (after a year of fridrich and just being curious to learn something new), I'm learning okay I have trouble with blocks like anybody new to roux would, I am actually pretty decent at the corners part, but I just get lost when it comes to the last 6 edges. I've watched a couple tutorials and things like that but I still can't wrap my head around it. Does anyone have a link to the most dumbed down version of the last step of roux? (The last 6 edges)

I'm new here, and posting because I'm sure someone here knows what I'm talking about.

Cubefans, and Cube4you both say:
"only accept Visa"

However, when checking out, both say:
"Visa is not available, please use other card to pay!"

I've gone and purchased a visa gift card thinking that maybe they didn't like my issuing bank. However I'm still have trouble. Oh and the other problem. Is the issuing bank fill-in-space asking for the 6 numbers, or the name of the bank. Thanks for help and sorry if this has been answered. I've read post about paypal, but no where (that I've seen) said how to pay with Visa.
Thanks again.

I didn't know the best place to post this, hope I posted correctly.

Have you tried contacting them?

multiple times. I tried ordering from them about a month ago, when I first came interested in cubing. Then again today. I've not received any replies. And before you ask, yes I've checked spam folders. Any other ideas?

Tensioning and Lubing Type C 4 WitLong and Type C 5

Hullo
My main is a Witlong and I own a wityou and I have been playing with tensions and lubrication techniques with these puzzle for awhile now and my witlong has been good for awhile now but as it started to "break in" more I had to tighten it and now it feels sluggish again.

I had heard that the WitYou was better so when I won one in a lucky draw I was really excited but so far it feels held back, locky and must be really tight to prevent pops.i have tried 5 Lubing techniques that I found/thought up on this cube but its still not that great.

If you could help me out on how to tension these puzzles well and on a good way to lubricate a type c 5 WitYou It would be much appreciated.

Well, I still keep mine pretty loose, since it has that "anti-pop" mechanism. I just tensioned and lubed the core, and just put a bunch of lube on the pieces haha. it works pretty well still! :D

What should a breakdown of a sub-20 Petrus solve look like?

EDIT: Also, wait to preorder the Shuang Ren or order iCubeMart's portable bundle (Mini-YJ, Mini Alpha, Micro Memory) for about the same price?

I've started to solve a Rubik's Revenge 4x4 cube and I have completed most of it, but none of the algorithms I see other people try never seem to work. Can you guys provide me with the proper algorithms?View attachment 2742View attachment 2743View attachment 2744View attachment 2745

I really need help. :/

It seems that you have already created all the centers and paired up all the edges, it should be just like a regular 3x3x3 at this stage. Finish 2 layers (3 layers actually) so you'll have just the final layer left, there's a small chance it will be just like a 3x3x3, if it's isn't it means you have parity. Google it to see how to solve parity, but first solved the first 2 layers (3 layers in reality).
