Can someone link me to a video on how to do the last 4 centers on a 4x4 with yau method? I realize it is intuitive, but a video would be good about tips for the last 4 centers.

ok thanks will do that tomorrow, never taken my cube apart :/ zhanchi will look up videos. Thanks anyway.

You can probably just grab the corner and twist it back to its correct orientation. In all probability this happened by accident when you were scrambling or solving anyway.

Well you could watch all the other fast people execute like felik's, 5bld, and nakajima

Yes, I know. I just think that jskyler91's fingertricks are pretty amazing. Obviously for me (4x4 addict) they aren't 100% copyable, but they are still nice to try to learn from. anyway, that comment was partially sarcastic (in re to the amazing conversation on the fakeness of his recent avg12). So yeah.

anybody have any good algs for last two edges on 6x6 and/or 7x7

(specifically thinking about this case, but any algs would be great cause i only know the ones transferable from 5x5.)

Also if anyone has a good pure parity alg that isn't the really annoying, long one, it would be greatly appreciated. edit: or a parity alg that flips the inner wing edges on 7x7

bump?

For that case, I would probably just do z y 3u' R U R' F R' F' R 3u then parity since it's not so complicated.
If nobody here has an answer, you might want to poke around the Big Cube Thread, but I don't know of any databases of 6x6x6/7x7x7 algs around.

As for your parity problem, I usually just do the same alg I use for regular parity but with inner slices only. It's not as fast as with double-layer slices, but it's still better than doing the alg twice. idk if that's the best way to do it; that's just how I do it.

Oh! Could you share how you achieved sub-30?

Like ben said, practice.

My splits:

Cross: 2-3 seconds
F2L: 8-9 seconds
OLL: 2-3
PLL: 3-5

These are somewhat approximate. Check out my youtube channel for a couple of my ao5's or something like that. I was really lazy for awhile and stayed with 4LLL until I was averaging 23-25 seconds, then I slowly started learning PLL. And by slowly, I mean like 2 or 3 algs a month, at most. xD I still need to learn my N and G perms.

I can sub-15 pretty easily with 4LLL:
F2L: 7
OLL: 4
PLL: 4
