The One Answer Question Thread

Can someone link me good tutorials on meyer method and k4? for 4x4 and 5x5, i want the meyer roux style not the cfop style. Thank you :)

You dont need a meyer tutorial. The basic method is very simple and uses yau pairing. You build two opposite centres, 1x3x4, solve othercentres, yaupair and then roux.

i want to learn blindfold solving 3x3 seriously i know the old pochmann but i want to know what are the faster methods like what method should i move on now? to get faster.

Pick one method and get good at it.

Well when you do averages eg:Ao5, Ao12 etc... Because I use chao timer an app for the iPhone for my timed solves, should I reset the session for every time I'm finished. If this is not the case how do the Ao's work then if I did 12 in a new session if I achieved my best for an Ao5 in those 12 does that work, or can anyone just give me the right rules or guidelines as I don't want to cheat myself as I achieved my first sub 40sec avg in 5 weeks of starting

While solving 5x5x5, I found something nice. While on the last layer (3x3x3 stage), I solved the corners and the edge groups were all in their correct places, just flipped the wrong way. Is there an alg to flip all four of these and solve the cube?

M U2 M' U2 M U M' U2 M U2 M' U'
or
((M' U)3 M' U')2 or ((M' U')3 M' U)2

4x4 edge pairing help

i really want to improve my 4x4 time but i'm having trouble learning the 3 2 2 2 3 method. i currently pair 3, then pair 3 more while fixing the centers, the i fix the last four 1 at a time.

I would save the average and start a new one
