I've had my zhanchi for a while and noticed that there are scratch marks on the pieces inside. I think these are due to friction. Do I need to get rid of them? Are they slowing my cube down in any way?

This is caused by pieces rubbing against each other. The scratches themeselves do not slow down your cube, however your cube is probably tight which is slowing it down. This is ok. You probably also want to lubricate your cube with some sort of silicone lubricant, such as lubix or traxxas.

Thanks! Also, how do I know if my cube is lubed enough?

It is really personal preference. There are several videos on YouTube on how to lube your cubes. Crazybadcuber has a good one. Just make sure you do not overlube. If you overlube then your cube will become horrible, trust me from personal experience. I would suggest lubricating the core and then lubricating the pieces. Check out the lubrication thread if you have anymore questions on lubrication. Or feel free to PM me on any topic.

is there a cube app/software, that can help me practice CLL memorization. like if i wanted to practice all the sune cases, just the sunes. is there a software that'll give me a scramble(bottom solved of course) with a CLL case on top of my choosing?

hey...i have just learnt that how to solve a cube blindfolded using old pochmann method.....
but i cant memorize all the edges and the positions of corners by just tapping them(corners)
i ve learnt memorising by this video..

do u know any other idea to memorise...
or give me a link to videos...?
i ve a major problem with corners...

this timer has random scrambles also so you can practice last layer by those scrambles...

Most people find it easier to use a letter scheme. Check out Speffz in the wiki.

thanks but in corners memorisation i have a problem in learning the place of corners people learn them by just tapping...any help..?

I'm not sure I understand. You seem to be talking about memorizing corners. If that is what you are talking about and if you are having trouble using tapping, try using a lettering scheme instead.

do you know any video....which help me in memorising the corners by lettering scheme..?

Assign a letter to each corner sticker. When you memorise the corner cycles, memorise the letters corresponding to those stickers. If it helps, you can turn pairs of letters into words or images which can interact with each other.

This works exactly the same for edges, and is one of the most popular memo methods.

one last question buddy....
for edges which method is easier old pochmann or m2...?

M2 is faster by a LOT, but requires you to learn five or six algorithms for the M-slice edges. OP is very slow and sometimes has complicated set-up moves (at least compared to M2), but you only need T-perm. If you plan on getting semi-serious about BLD, I would say to skip straight to M2 If not, OP is good enough to get times around 3 minutes.

Will a C4U core (+screws/springs) fit a FangCun cube? I heard that the stock core + screws are crap. But I only have a spare C4U core + screws + springs here.
