Is my Dayan Zhanchi Original???

The video doesn't work. Not all ZhanChi's come with cards. What do the pieces look like, I don't think there is anyone making replica ZhanChi's so if the pieces look like a zhanchi then it probably is fine, Have you tensioned it? some cubes come from the factory with wildly uneven tensions (like one side is really loose), which is difficult to tell unless you take it appart, but will results in terrible pops.

The video is uploading.....it'll work

The pieces look like your noraml zhanchi and maybe its your tensioning I just got me a new zhanchi stickerless and this one actually popped on me but its alot looser tensioning then my white zhanchi. Im pretty sure you got an actual zhanchi but if there is someone making rip off zhanchis then they did a really good job with the piece replication.

I just did a Cross/F2L/LL ao12. What should I improve?
Cross:2.63
F2L:7.93
LL: 5.14
Of course this isn't 100% accurate, because I normally don't have inspection times between steps. I average 16-17 sec.

Should I switch to roux?
That is up to you. Choose whichever method you prefer. You're never too slow/fast to switch, really.

With an 18 second second cfop average could I be better with roux and alot of practice?
Yes, but you could also be better by simply practising CFOP more, and learning new tricks related to it. Neither is really faster than the other ("methods don't have speeds"). It's up to your personal preference.
I say at least try it, though. The block-building and Roux-related tricks you learn will most likely help regardless of which method you choose. (Block-building can still help CFOP)

Would I have to learn alot of algs?
No, not starting out. Although, if you want to get good, you'd need ~48, but I only started learning CMLL when I hit ~20 seconds.

Sure.
No.
Yes.
Maybe.

Seriously, up to you. Try out a bunch of methods (CFOP, Roux, Petrus, ZZ, columns first, etc) and see which one you like the best. Not which one is fastest, because "methods don't have speeds" [don't you love being quoted all the time, Alex?], but which one you like most.
