If my dad says he won't be able to get me any real lube (as in differential or something like that) for a month or so, and I just lubricated my Square-1 with Vaseline, will there be any real damage if I wait the month and then clean the Vaseline out? This thing is godly when it's lubricated (TWSS) and without the Vaseline I couldn't even do a (1,0) without using my whole hand.

Your playing with fire man, I put Vaseline in my 3x3 rubiks brand cube before really getting into speedcubing, went really fast for the first few (2-3) weeks. After that it was a crappy mess of black dust and was grinding like mad. Basically anything with petroleum dissolves plastics. How quickly? I don't know.

Petrol lubes are like cocaine for you cubes.... really great at first but then it starts to **** you up.

Sorry if this is a noob question, but what is the 4x4 method where you solve the centres first, pair the edges, then solve it like a normal 3x3?
I couldn't find anything in the search bar.

I never solved or held one before, but thnx to my photographic memory I know the method is called "Reduction".

Ok, My question for 3x3 F2L . I have 2 solved pairs on the top layer. What is the alg to insert one of the pairs without messing up the other? I remember a vid saying it starts with an "F" move but he didn't display it on screen...
