I'm aware of how to do the cross, and i have watched all video's related. I just suck at it and what to try something different, cheers.

Oh ok. I thought you might want an advanced cross tutorial to just get faster at it.
Here's a decent petrus tutorial
You could do FreeFOP, which is basically the F2L in whatever way you see best, whether it be a petrus style block building, x-cross, roux blocks, etc, and then you do OLL and PLL normally. If you use roux you still use some OLL algs and PLL algs, especially if you are doing corners in 2-looks. Check out Waffo's rouxtorial and 5BLD on youtube if you wanna learn roux.

(being noob again) Is the speedsolving wiki the best place to learn OLLs? And I know there's a lot of personal preference involved, but is the first one the alg that is used the most by far? I've watched Breandon's OLL vid, and some of his algs are the 2nd or 3rd alg in wiki, so what would you suggest? I know he's basically the fastest, so should I just completely copy him? I just want to learn the right algs, because badmephisto's are alittle outdated I think.

I just went through every single alg until I found one that worked for me. Most of the time the alg that's best is going to be the top half. I think it's better to find algs that fit you and not just copy someone else but there are some standard algs that everyone uses. The right algs are the algs that work for you and your cubing style. It might be easier to just use the algorithm database and try the algs from the most optimal to least optimal and find algs that are easy to fingertrick.

It's one of the better resources by the quantity of algs, but they may not always be the ones you want.

I haven't noticed a pattern to the order they list them in.

Use whatever algs feel the best to you. Try out a few for each case.

My Guhong locks up all the time :S What do I do in order to reduce the lock-ups?

Turn more accurately, retension your cube. My guhong used to lock up a ton and I found out it was because it was too tight. Then it started locking up even more and popping because it was too loose. Just go on cyoubx's youtube and look at how he tensions his dayan cubes.

i want to get colour neutral, is it better to get colour neutral now ( i am averaging 13-14s) or when i am better?

ya every time is possable from 0:0.01-9:59.99

I just tested it and I got 13.33 sec

Michael, that's incorrect. I've looked at the mechanics of the stackmat itself, and I figured out that it only updates 60 times per second. This means that many times are impossible to achieve on a legit stackmat. Try getting a 0.01. Impossible, right? Look at 2:50 in this thread. To answer the original question, no, not all times are possible on the Stackmat timer.

I want this to me proven if it where to be done 100-150 times in a row

I counted the blue (stackmat) once and got 96. I'm probably a little off on the counting (don't have speakers so don't know if he said it), but this was a well-conducted test. I'm sure somebody would be willing to type in a couple hundred solve, but don't count on it.

Why are the various cubes referred to as 3 by 3, 4 by 4 etc.? The dimensions are actually 3x3x3, 4x4x4 etc. and using the fact that it is a cube you could just shorten it to a 3 cube or 4 cube...

My opinion,
3x3x3 is to long
3 cube sounds weird
but 3x3 sounds perfect (probably because that what we are used to saying)
most likely what the first cubers ever said.
