Are there any good tutorials for the Square-1? I would prefer less than 30 algorithms but still something that can average under 30 seconds. If someone could point me to a nice square-1 tutorial, then that would be great.
Thanks.

I'm sure you could learn all the algs for edge permutations on just one layer and you'd be fine. You'd just have to z2 or x2 when you need to. :)

Cubeshape looks most difficult IMO.

Embedded videos are no longer working on chrome on my computer. They worked fine yesterday, but not today. Any idea of how I can fix this?

EDIT: videos in general are not working, even the youtube site. Could it be an issue with flash player?

I can sub 2 every CMLL, but due to recognition, my CMLL during a solve is +3. How can I improve recognition or even predict cases?

Freeze 3 moves before end of second block and don the blindfold. Now orient the corners, lift the blindfold and celebrate. Repeat.

Next, freeze 2 moves before the end and completely predict the cmll. Celebrate. Repeat.

what should a sub 10 solve look like?
example:
cross: sub x.xy
Cross & f2l: sub x.xy
LL: sub x.xy (OLL: x.xy PLL: x.xy)
thanks in advance! :D

I would say:
Cross: Sub-1
Cross + F2L: Sub 6.5
Last Layer: Sub 3.5 (OLL: Sub-1.5; PLL: Sub-2)

If you do the F2L and Last Layer Competitions in the Forum Competitions area, they should help you improve as well.

Nearly the same as my estimates :D
I used to do the comps, but then i just started practicing for a while.
To your LL-comp:
I think inspection time is stupid. In a normal solve you don't have an inspection time.
Rule Nr. 3 should be something like this: Scramble without looking at the cube. Shut your eyes. Open them when starting the timer => Solve and stop the timer.
This way, you would have to do AUF as usual and the same recognition time is needed. Result: Your LL time will be as it would normally be, and not faster.
That's just how I think about it, but otherwise good idea.
