Should I do the 48 point edge mod on the Zhanchi? It's very slow and I already completely cleaned it out and relubed. It didn't change anything. Will the mod make a difference?

On the ZhanChi, it won't make as much of a difference as a GuHong. Anyway, the 48-point edge mod is for clickyness, not speed. Go ahead and try, but you may have just overlubed.

Thanks, but there's no way in hell I can do a 3x3x3 BLD, I just want to learn the 2x2x2 right now. Anyone else help me?

A 2x2 is just the corners of a 3x3. Use the corners part of that tutorial.

50k = 50,000 wt which is not the same as 50 wt. 50k is thick like honey, 50 wt is like water.
Don't even think 50 wt is called differential oil?

Did you try tensioning it? My brother's ZhanChi was really slow when he got it but after lubing and tensioning it was awesome.

It's lubed with traxxas the same way as it would with lubix, tensions are pretty loose, 1/2 turn looser than my guhong which is right before it starts to pop.
