People have been using both of those, so it up to you to choose. I'd go with C4Y core+springs/screws.

But it's not big difference, though..

Thanks man. So does anybody know what is the best lube to use? Because I was thinking of getting some lube. Either some Izo Lube, Lubix, Traxxas 50K Weight, etc. I don't have the money to get all different types of lubes to see which is the best lol.

I'd say lubix, but I've been away from the cubing forums for a while so I don't know what the research progress on differential and shock oil is.

Lubix and 50K diff oil are IMHO opinion the same. Don't get me wrong, I love Lubix, but at that price it's a bit expensive. I did 2 Lunhui's. I swapped them both with C4Y hardware and core. Because of this the screws bottomed out in the core at an amazing tension level. Also meaning that they were exactly the same tension. I lubed one with ~2cc of Lubix and one with ~2cc of Traxxas 50k diff oil.

I then had my friend hide both and give them to me in a random order so that I wouldn't know which was which, to prevent bias. I use one at work, the other at home. The one at work see's 2 averages of 12 a day as well as multiple random solves. The one at home see's 2 averages of 12 a day and I try to do an equal number of random solves on it as I did at work. Neither see use on the weekend. It has been over a month since this experiment and they both still perform identically. I say go with Traxxas, it works well, and for the price it can't be beat.

Sweet Thanks.

What?
Aren't you supposed to put only a few drops? :D

Or you're making Lubix Superior?

Okay, so I just came back after being gone for 3-4 years and don't want to make my own thread because I have two very simple questions. What are the commonly accepted best 2x2-7x7 and megaminx, pyramix, and square 1?

2x2 - WitTwo (Type C)
3x3 - Any Dayan Cube. Really, it personal prefference, but people seem to pick ZhanChi to be the best
4x4 - Dayan+mf8
5x5 - V-Cube 5. If you don't do 5x5 much, I'd go with ShenShou because it's cheaper and better out-of-the-box
6x6 - Wait for the ShenShou to come out in a few days
7x7 - V-Cube

Pyraminx - QJ
Megaminx - Mf8 or QJ v2
Squar-1 - Mf8 v2

can anyone who has had experience with lightake tell me if it is reliable if i choose DHL shipping to the UK, i will buy about 2 cubes and would like to know if it is safe and reliable.

Pyra-QJ
Mega-mf8 v2
Sq1- I don't know or care

Thanks. Now where can I buy the 2x2?

It was a rough estimate, and probably a poor one at that. The syringe that I used had tic marks with numbers all up the side, I assumed that the represented cc's. It was only a few drops that I used, more like 7 drops actually. 1 for each core/center connection and another for the pieces themselves. All I know is I filled it to the 2 on the syringe both times and used it all each time. maybe it was milli-cc's or some such nonsense. It's a syringe used for applying plexi-glass glue so it may have been some other measurement.

I live in Maine, USA, which is basically the opposite side of the Earth. I got my package with DHL in 3 days. In the U.S. people with regular Lightake shipping can get it between 5 days - 4 weeks. I would assume UK is quicker since it is closer to Hong Kong, but I am not positive.
