I just got my FII and straight out of the box, 2 edge pieces are popping out very constantly. Even when I drop it 2 feet about carpet. It's not the whole edge piece, it's the half piece that slides in to connect to other half. Is there any way to prevent this? Thanks!

Roux has only six edges and centres, so maybe it's more likely.

That's not all on one layer though. For Roux, a LL skip would literally just be skipping the very last substep of L6E, making a Roux LL skip more likely than an LL skip on any non-CF method that I know of (also wouldn't have as much an effect on the solve time...).

Yup- absolutely, although I was implying a complete mooing skip.

Skipping the very last substep of LSE is quite common, way more common than a last layer skip in CFOP!

For a complete MU skip, it does use all the layers, that's why I said 'maybe'. I can't be bothered to do the maths this late in the evening, however (UK).

For me, roux's last layer would be all mooing. Step 4c doesn't even take a second :) so it shouldn't be considered a step should it?

E2 M' E2 M takes me more than a second lol :p

And even though I almost never practice Roux, I've had a L6E skip before :3

I don't get how anyone could call Roux a CF method. You solve 6 edges of the cube before you solve the corners fully.

I didn't call it a CF method.

just intuitively solve them.
Ignore what is happening to the U center and just concentrate on the F center. Solve a 2x3 block on the F center intuitively, in the same way you solved the rest of the centers. Then put that 2x3 block on the left, and put together the last 1x3 column with only r and U moves.

I don't like how the links (New Posts, PMs, FAQ...) under the tabs (Homepage, Forum, Wiki...) are not there when viewing the "homepage". Why were they removed?

Those links relate to the Forum. If you go to the Wiki, they change to relate to the Wiki. If you go to What's New they change to relate to new things.

But now, if I want to 'mark forums read' while on the homepage (since I can see which ones I haven't read yet, which, in this case, don't interest me), I have to click on 'What's New' or 'Forums' in order to do so, which takes up unnecessary time.

Would you have the guts to do anything in this vid?

Eugh, I thought the lighting of the persons newspaper was a bit funny.

If you consider that the Last layer than sure, I consider a LL equivalent in roux to be the LSE, you can frequently influence EO in roux during the CMLL step. Lots of room for forcing stuff in LSE.

I keep getting the same thing happen to me when I finish all edges on 4x4 and up to last 2 edges.
$_____@
@_____$ The $ is a edge and the @ is another edge. I have a similar thing that happens but when I apply the algorithim for the similar one it doesn't fix it?

Hold the cube with these edges in front and do R U R' U' F' U F and then try your algorithm.
