Everyone says to lube the dayan mf8 core with lubix to make it better and stuff but will it help the popping at all because mine explodes every other solve

No, but it will remove friction in the core, so you can tighten it without advere effects on the turning, meaning it won't pop as much

My Mf8 megaminx is really locky after lubing and losening the tensions, although the speed is ok if i tighten the megaminx hardly turns.
How can i get rid of this problem

Yes! shock oil and diff. oil is what lubix pretty much IS.

Yes! I know a friend who lubed one with CRC and it just works how you would expect it to.

2. What does a "counting" time mean? e.g. he had a counting 7.

a counting time means it counted towards the average (wasn't the fastest or slowest)

so an average of 5 - (9.89) 10.06 13.50 12.08 (15.01) would have a counting 13.
