What is a good tps for the cross,because crosses can have all kind of moves such as D,R,F,U,B etc and it is usually 5-7 moves unless its an easy cross.

So at what tps do you go during the cross,because all kind of moves cannot be done at 7 tps

According to this video, the shengshou 4x4 doesn't misaligns: http://youtu.be/FKDGsQZD5Wc
Does that really work? I mean, as far as Ive heard it has the same issue as the maru, who's right then?

Mine has never misaligned yet. The Maru doesn't have those little notches on the third side, so 2/3 of the misalignments are prevented, whereas the other layer will still misalign. That''s why I hate my Maru.

So.. If you had the bottom layer solved except for DFR, DF, and DR, and the E layer was solved except FR and RB needed to be switched, what is a good way to do that?
(Might be hard to understand. If you did an R2, the E layer would be solved, but the corner would be off by an R2. I can elaborate if needed)

The goal here is to solve the E layer by the way.

edit2: without destroying the solved parts of the bottom layer.

E3cubestore has like a wholesale pre-order thing where you can buy a mf8 gigaminx for $60 and they'll send it to you in a couple weeks when they get them.

Yeah, I saw that, but I'd rather not go that route... Thanks tho

Edit: misread his post the first time I guess, something about it the first time made it seem fishy for some reason. Maybe I will end up going through them.

R2 U R2 U' R2

Another useful alg: R u' R' U' R u R'

EDIT: Also, R' U' R U R

Triangular Francisco?

Hey I downloaded Acube from the link you posted,but I don't know how to install it and how to make it start working.

Is there any way I could use it online? on a website?

Hmm, there should be batch files that come with it, or maybe I made them myself...

It runs from command line, I'll edit this post soon.

EDIT: Just downloaded it again, and there is a file called "run.bat"; which has the following code:
Code:
@java -cp ACube3.jar ACube %1
You can also add things before the "%1" to change how the solver works (STM, only optimal solutions, all optimal solutions, etc.), by changing the code to this:
Code:
@java -cp ACube3.jar ACube s o a%1
Simply double-clicking on the file will run the solver in cmd. Then just type in the cube position (~U 401 ? ? UB...).

Hope that explains it.
