If it's NOT the ball core one, take one of the corner caps off from the U layer and one cap off the D layer. Put some lube in the little rails because that's where all the friction is.

If that's not fast enough, one of the side caps should have a screw for adjusting.

I don't get it,where are the little rails,what piece is it?

and i can't undestand if its a ball core square 1,its round inside but not exactly identical to the image you posted

QUESTION -- What is the difference between different types of hardware? Like my fisher cube has gold hardware, and my guhong has black hardware. Is there any difference?

There's not much of a difference, but I believe that some hardware types are stronger than others (e.g. white is stronger than black).

What does a "counting" time mean? Like on YouTube, I see averages and people would say "counting 12" or something.....This is probably a noob question, I know
