8 algs which are...? CP,EP?

Edit: EP has 50+ algs,so how will I do EP if I don't know all the algs?

ep has 100 cases total you need like 6 to solve it
cp doesnt count because there like 3 turns
separation is like 2 algs (m2 doesnt count) (really easy)
for ep you only need
opp-opp (m2 u2 m2)
adj-adj
opp-adj
adj-opp
adj
h-opp
h
h
z
z
thats 12 total and there almost all m2s (h is the same as 3x3, z is m2 u m2 u' m2)
dan cohen uses pretty much only these http://cube.danrcohen.com/puzzles/sq1.html

I'd rather do it proper. Theres no point in me wasting time with 2 look when ZZLL isn't that much

Phasing question was answered already in chat, I was correct, its intuitive

zz just orients LL edges... so unless you're going for zbll, its still 2 look. . zbll is a serious amount of algs. . you looking for stuff like winter variation? look on sarahs site. also, there was a post recently about f2l, it was in polish. that would be a good resource. this is just forcing OLL skips, but the recognition is meh. . if you force an OLL skip, it'll still PLL afterwords. i think the recognition for COLL is meh too, but EPLL are nice. it'd probably benefit you more to get comfortable with phasing and then go OCLL/PLL.

How do I set up and solve this math problem?
If the length of a rectangle is increased by 12 and the width is decreased by 8, the area is unchanged. The area is also unchanged if the original length is increased by 5 and the original width is decreased by 4. Find the original dimensions of the rectangle.

I set it up like: (x+12)(y-8)=(x+5)(y-4) and I have simplified it to 4x+76=7y. I am not quite sure if I simplified it correctly, but any help would be nice.

EDIT: (x+12)(y-8)=(x+5)(y-4)
xy-8x+12y-96=xy-4x+5y-20
8x+12y-96=-4x+5y-20
-4x+12y-96=5y-20
-4x-96=-7y-20
-4x-76=-7y
4x+76=7y
and that's where I am right now, if I did it right.

xy - 8x + 12y - 96 = xy -4x + 5y -20
-8x + 12y - 96 = -4x + 5y - 20
-4x + 7y = 76
or, 76 - 4x = 7y
simplified correctly. you missed a - in the beginning.

Related, how do you change a circle equation ((x+a)^2+(y+b)^2)=1) into function form (y=...) so that you can put it into a calculator?

Cubing related: Are there any sites for 3x3x2/3x3x4 other than Jaap's?

i believe that waffo has 3x3x2 PLL algs. i believe he just does seperation, PLL, z2, PLL. 3x3x4, not sure... PM me if you find that info. i like this puzzle and i can solve it intuitively, but i'd like to see some more documentation on it.

This probably sounds like a dumb question but what's the difference between CLL, COLL and CMLL?

Affects certain other pieces as well. CLL generally leaves the F2L intact (although there is 2x2 CLL which must only leave the first layer corners intact and Waterman CLL which must only leave the first layer intact), COLL leaves F2L intact and edge orientation, CMLL must only leave the two Roux blocks intact.
