I have many lockups during that + slower TPS then I have right now. I'm looking for a new alg for that case but check this one out, it's still pretty nice.

Havent worked on this alg yet, but after like 2 minutes i can easily sub2 it.
and my bad there is one regrip.
there was also one messup in the vid, but you get the general idea. lol

4x4 what to improve

Hey guys this is a video of my 4x4 solve,can someone plz watch it and tell me how to get faster on it and on what areas of the solve do I need to work on.Didn't want to make a new thread on it so posted it here.Any help would be highly appreciated.Thanks

Yeah, I agree with vcuber, turn faster for sure. Also, your recognition for centers is pretty slow, so maybe just practice centers for a few days, then just practice edges for a few days. I've also found that timing 3x3 solves on a 4x4 is good practice too.

Oh, and maybe get a better 4x4, maybe a Maru and Shengshou.

ANY look ahead at all will get you sub 2. No matter what video you post, the answer will always be go slow and just spam yyour lookahead. That is all that maters on 4x4. LookaheadLookaheadLookahead

Thanks both of you,i'll right away start practicing the centers,but thats the fastest I can turn,It pops if I try to turn faster.

I went as slow as i possibly could during centers, edges, and 3x3. I even had loads of pauses, plus this was first solve of the day (hands freezing) and its still sub 2 easiliy.

Hmm, I'm not sure. The cube didn't seem very good. Maybe you should play with the tensions.

Advanced 5x5 tutorial? Like the method fast 5x5'ers use. I dont want to spend time on a bad tutorial. Though I believe they all use the same one, I just wanted to clarify that.

considering he is pretty fast. I think this could be the method lots of people use.

I do 4x4 solving, I solve one center edge and one outer edge on every piece, then 4x4 3-2-2-2-3 the edges from there.
Not sure how effective it is since im horribly slow in general at 5x5, but Im hoping with practice it gets better. lol
