I now have an FII and am considering buying a Haiyan Memory...Is that an upgrade? Obviously its an opinion, but just an overall grade I suppose would be nice
I think it's an upgrade. I don't like FII's that much though. I used to use one as my main but after feeling Haiyan Memory and Guhong, the FII seems crap to me.
Looking to improve my 3x3 speed. I know the basic beginner method that comes with the cube, and I've learned petrus. Which method would you suggest I learn next, and where can I find a tutorial for it?
ugh this sucks. I tried lubing it he way he told me to and now the paper inside of it is ruined. I can barely see the numbers but at least it moves smooth now.
Do you mean the way showed in the most recent video I linked or by taking apart? I apologise, I meant for you to just use the recent video to see how to deal with lucky cases and not how to lube. Its alright you can always make new custom inserts (paper inside) if your current ones are really bad.
I recommend Fridrich though. YouTube badmephisto and go to his channel. Check out his intuitive F2L video.
Other methods like Roux can be fast. Thomas Barlow averages around 12 seconds with it I believe. That's a blockbuilding method like ZZ and Petrus but the way the blocs are built is very different afaik.
I'm on my iPod otherwise I'd link it for you but search for Donovan's 48-Point Edge mod on YouTube. Watch the clarification video too. That mod turns a GuHong into a hand held orgasm.
Not necessarily. With yellow on top and blue in front when you're going around the cube to the right it should be blue red green orange. If that's not correct then you won't be able to solve the 3x3 phase.
No, thats not what he means. You need to have them permuted correct.y If you hold yellow top blue front you should have red on the right side and orange on left :fp
