so that means those who have ordered guhongs from ebay won't be gettin them,is it?

If they were already shipped, you will still receive them, and If not then they will still be shipped, or you will receive a refund.

Is they YJ 6x6 the same size as a V-cube 6?

Yes, YJ cubes are exact copies, but I believe they have screws and springs.

They are not exactly the same size. The YJ 5 is slightly smaller than the V-5 and the pieces are different. They are not exact copies but pretty close.

I was wondering if the OLL parity for 4x4 : r U2 x r U2 r U2 r' U2 l U2 r' U2 r U2 r' U2 r',can be used for 5x5 edge parity where the wings of the edge are flipped.If it can't then i would have to memorise the slower algorithm

If there's just one magic and one clock between about 10 people who wanna participate at a tournament, what happens? Is there a regulation for a situation like this?

They musy be quite unprepared. It makes me wonder whytf are so many people signing up for one thing and not bringing the required puzzle? Do they expect to always be able to borrow? lol
Magic probably isn't too much of a problem, that can get done pretty quick, so the Magic can be borrowed around.
Clock, idk. A regulation says that competitors should be ready when called up.

Problem is, none of em can afford it. They just bought 3x3h 4x4, square 1s, etc. They're all banking on me for the clock and magic lol.

This is a real situation?! I thought you were just giving a scenerio!!!
Tell them as politely as you can, you are unable to, because too many people are asking for the same favor.
Unless they're gonna pay you...

Does anyone know if I can switch the core and springs out of a YJ 5 into a V-5? I'm planing on leaving the centres pieces as I've been told they are slightly different.

You are the one that told me the YJ was slightly smaller, if that's true then V5 pieces are slightly bigger, meaning they might not fit.

If this were to work, I think maybe different/longer screws might allow the core to accommodate the larger pieces

EDIT:The POM one is a different type of plastic, It is harder and supposedly reduces friction.

You can read this thread about is. Post number 6
