Is the Pyraminx easier to solve than the 3x3? I want to figure out how to solve something on my own.

i intuitively can solve it in a minute (i really need to find a method)

though there is like 1 case or 2 cases where you will need an algorithm (or at least, i wouldnt have been able to figure it out)
is the Guhong a stable cube? Like can i see a gap if i pull 2 sides apart?Does it lock up?
The A5 is more stable right?

it may not feel stable but the GH is very stable, it may pop some if youy dont have it on a somewaht tight tension.

Yes, you should be able to solve it on your own. After playing with it for a bit you should easily be able to come up with some algs for finishing the last few steps. Depending on how you go about solving it of course.

The GuHong slow? I thought it was too fast and overshoots!
How do you MOD a Lingyun??

he only has ever owned a haiyan and the GH (gh he got about a week ago maybe?)

dunno how he says he likes GH better when hes never even felt an a5 (and no Eric, an a5 isn't a modded haiyan)
Does anyone know when or if the vcube 4 is coming?

noone knows when it's coming out and people need to stop asking. it will be released whenever they finish it

for all you fast OH'ers

Now I'm not that "fast" but I think I can help.
Yeah, switch to Weston's way cause he is beast.
First, learn the R' trick. Practice it for a while, and you might suck at it on the first day. But when you wake up the next day, you will be way better at it.
Trust me, you will. Then practice it some more.
Then learn the U flick fingertrick. Very useful, but it might be a little hard to switch. Once I switched though, I was using Weston's way alot more than the beginner way.
Using just those fingertricks will improve your time.
As for F and F', I think you should wait til you are a little more comfortable OH. For now, just rotate to do F/F' turns.

the double flick U trick? i'm pretty good at it, though never tried it OH
just tried..its awkward because there's not much room for me to double flick it

and ok thanks for the F tricks. though what would your suggestion on F/F'? westons?

edit-i can double flick trick if i hold the cube away from my fingers a bit so i have more room..

edit again-i'm tired, the U flick that weston uses? k gotcha :)

Sorry I didn't reply, I went to bed...
Anyhow,
Use Weston's when you get comfortable. But they don't save that much time in a solve.
Oh yeah I forgot about the U2' double flick fingertrick (I assume you mean using the index finger then middle finger). I know, it is a little awkward at first, you might drop the cube some times (I know I used to) but you'll get the hang of it. It's a little more intermediate.
Yeah that is what I meant for the U flick. That should be the second fingertrick you learn after the R' trick. The cool thing about this is that you can extend it to a U2 by doing the flick, keeping your index finger at the BL corner of the U face, and pushing to your right to the BR corner of the U face. So it starts at FL of U face, then goes to BL of U face, then pushes and finishes at BR of U face. Like the other U2, this is a little more advanced, but it will save a little time.
So just to finish, learn the R' trick first, then the U flick (not U2) that Weston uses. You should be able to get sub 40 average with this and some practice.
To get faster, learn both U2 tricks.
Finally, learn the R2 trick. Hit the R face like you normally would with your pinky to turn it, then immediately with your ring finger, causing an R2.
But as I said, for now, just work on that R' trick and the U flick.
Hope all of that helped :)
