Just used to keep the motions of the algs organized.
Example: R U2 (R2 U' R2 U' R2) U2 R

When I learned pll's, I would put them where I had a regrip on the cube, or a change-up on the motions of the alg.

is it safe to lube the yj 4x4, or any v-cube, with crc?

I just lubed my V5 with CRC three days ago and it is much faster and I think it also improved corner cutting. You just have to lube it the right way. Obviously make sure your silicone is not petroleum based other wise it would melt your cube. So the answer to your question yes it is safe when done correctly.

what type of cubes were the cubing USA 3x3's sold at U.S. Nationals?

Thanks

Doug

If they're the same ones as what were at NE Open (which they most probably are), Maru.

Can anyone else confirm this before I buy a few more of them?

Additional questions:

which lube is this and has anyone had any experience with it?

http://www.lightake.com/detail.do/sku.Professional_Magic_Cube_Care_Tool-30084

It looks similar to maru lube but I am not sure

Is this the Dayan Guhong 1 or 2?

http://www.lightake.com/detail.do/sku.3x3x3_DaYan_GuHong_Magic_Cube_Black-31025

And finally, what is the difference between the Guhong 1 and 2?

Thanks.

Doug

I'm ordering 5 of those and 7 Marus. I'll post reviews in about a week. Opinions from me as well as my friends. I'll also be doing reviews for the ghost hand 2, f 2 and guhong which wil be comparative. Since i'm ordering about 10gh2s, 7f2s and 3guhongs, i'll check out their consistency as well. I'm also getting 7lanlan 4x4s, 2 lanlan 2x2s and mf8 sq1s. A pyraminx and mirror block review will be coming up too. After i learn how to solve them of course.

badmephisto teaches a semi intuitive f2l method, should I learn that or the standard version with 40 or so algorithms? Whish on would be faster? Thanks

Wait so SB should be on right? I'm so confused....

I just learned it from a friend yesterday and I do FB on right and SB on left. Is that okay?
