If you shave down the inner edges on a V6 do you need the pins?
or will it come out of alignment too much?

Shave the edges, it will come out of alignment 100% of the time -.-

oops i forgot to say with the 2 edges glued

Without the pins, if you turn it along one of the axis, then it will ALWAYS become misaligned. For example, the way I did it, if you turn the cube on an axis that bisects orange (the side that I glued the pieces on), then it won't come out of misalignment. If you turn it the other way (along yellow, blue, white, green), it WILL. ALWAYS.

Sewing needles? As long as it can be trimmed to the right length so it can CATCH on the centers on one side but still be turned around, I think it won't be a problem.

how is it in relation to headlights?

headlights on the left (for me) and where the bar is ,like dead front, in back, or other positions

im trying to learn the M2 algorithms for middle layer pieces... it seems that some of the algorithms are wrong
BU , do F' D R' F D' M2 D F' R D' F
UF , do U2 M' U2 M'
FU , do F E R U R' E' R U' R' F' M2
DB , do M U2 M U2
BD , do M2 D R' U R' U' M' U R U' M R D'
^ represent where in the middle layer they are going to go to.
for the first one would U R2 U' B' R' B M2 B' R B U R2 U' I figured this out myself and i seem to be able to mentally see it better

place the headlights on the left. Look at the 2x1 block. Is it on the front or the back? Or on the right? If right, front right or back right?

Anyone got good g perms? The ones i use are rather awkward
I use R U R' y' R2 u' R U' R' U R' u R2, its inverse, its mirror, and mirrored inverse.

I'm looking for some cheap yet quite decent black cubes for modding (dno yet, fisher cube or smth perhaps). Which are suited?
