I could definitely see this as a good cube for a beginner. No pops, good speed, high quality, strong plastic. Besides the lockups its a wonderful cube!
Thanks!

I would have to disagree. I absolutely hate the cube4you cubes. Most of my noob friends actually really like Dianshengs. Just buy some replacement stickers for them and they're really cheap.

Is it a bad idea to solve 2x2x2 for the first time at a competition :D ?

not really if you can solve a 3x3 but you'll probably get 20+ times lol

seconds or minutes ;P?

Also, I don't see how the 2x2x2 can use fridrich method..it's only 4 peices.

basic idea to solve it?

I'll have to borrow a 2x2x2 at the competition most likely. I expect my 2x2x2 here any day, but it's doubtful it'll get here before sunday (earliest it could be here is tomorrow), but max time is another month from now)

it's fine as long as it doesnt disrupt the competition by taking wayyy too long. I taught my friend bob burton's lolmethod for pyra a few minutes before hand and he solved it for the first time in comp.

Is there a list somewhere of extended notation pyraminx algs?

Nobody?

Why do you want algs in extended notation? And what kind of algs? You can just convert it yourself...

Solve one layer. Orient the last layer corners using one of the 2-look OLL algs( I assume you know them right?). Use T-permutation or Y-permutation to solve the last corners (again, assuming you know those).

Here

I know full OLL/PLL :) So as long as you say 2look can solve it, then sure :)

Thanks.

But I'm lazy.

*sigh* Fine, I'll do it. Any tips for not wasting time on conversion?

hmm first of all why would you need extended notation? Just do the algs a few hundred times and you would have your own execution style...
