Is it necessary to mod an A-II? I think that's what this is. http://popbuying.com/detail.pb/sku.24560
I really don't think so. I love my AII. It was horrible at first but all I did was lube it and do a couple hundred solves or so with it and then it became amazing (for my style of cubing anyway).

Yeah, I used pledge on it, and it actually worked. =P
And then I sanded down a few of the edge pieces, 'cause the have these wierd... things haha... But anyway, Then I washed it and put a little bit more pledge. And I really like it now. It's not really my style. I like smooth more than choppy. But I get the same times with it.

At what time should you start to learn CLL? And in what order?

Really anytime you feel necessary. If you feel like putting enough effort to digest all those algorithms, it will only help you more.

I would learn them in groups, starting with sunes, I suppose?

sunes are good, they sune and antisune can be learned at the same time and they come up fairly often and have easy and fast algs, like niklas and sune. i learned double sune next, just because that OLL took the most time for me to do, and there are only 4 cases in it, i would learn double sune, sune, and pi first, because they are easy to recognize and the algs are fairly fast, i would use rowe's recognition tutorials and woner's or anthony's algs

what cincyaviation said, and I started learning CLL when I was consistently getting sub-4 with Ortega (more like 5 now) and I'm done Pi and H just cuz they have really easy recongition.

I've told people to learn CLL once they are sub 6 with LBL or ortega

Wait 'til you're sub-7 with LBL, the other method doesn't matter. You need to have a fast first layer.

it gets very annoying when i am solving with someone and i scramble their cube and tell them they have a 5 move layer, and what color it is on, and then they make a 5 second 14 move layer (tru storah)

Is patrick being stupid ON PURPOSE? im pissed off because he hurt spongebob's feelings.
