how do you put in the last piece of a maru? i mean, the corner. when you try shoving it in, it doesn't fit because the hole is too small (you'd know what i mean if you tried) and if you loosen the sides, then the edges pop.

You mean 2x2?

If so, you have to remove the inner bit from the covering so it's just the little black pin thing then you build it just like a 3x3 before then putting the cover back on. Same thing as for an Eastsheen which you can very easily find on YT.

TEEEEEE HEEEEEEEE
That's what she said.

I TOTALLY saw that coming :D

and @ randomtoad:
could you link me to a video? i'm not so sure i understand what you're saying...

Edit:

I got it. It's like when you dissasemble an eastsheen. where you have to get the screwdriver and push down the pin/tab. then you can take you the piece with the triangle. Then you put that piece in first, and then attatch the shell of the corner to the triangle piece.

Yes, sorry I didn't explain it very well lol.

Here, I really want an answer, but I don't want to make a thread. If you answer this question, and I tell anyone about it, I'll be sure to mention you.

If you have all 3 f2l pairs + cross completed, and a pair (plus an extra corner) right above it's slot, how many combinations of the other corners are there? This includes permutation and orientation, and it would be extremely nice if you told me the mirrors, too. Remember, there is a corner half solved (only R'/L away from solved, with the empty slot facing you) and an f2l pair connected to it, and I don't care about edges. Even if you don't know the exact answer, an accurate guess would be great.

Once again, you would be a great help, and you could get an honorable mention.
EDIT: an example is the scramble D2 R2 B2 U' B2 D2 L2 F2 L2 B2 D' R2 U2 F2 U' L' B2 R D2 U2 R, where you can see the f2l + corner block.
My first post! I dont know "direct" algs (1-look) but you can use VHF2L/ZBF2L then WV, just make sure you dont use the whole VH/ZBF2L alg otherwise the pair would've already been in and you would need to use 2-look OLL. VHF2L contains 64 including mirrors and ZBF2L includes 712 including mirrors. WV includes 54 including mirrors, adding up to iunno, 1728 (64 VHF2L cases, 27 same-mirror WV cases) or 712X27=19224. If you hate mirrors do R'FRF2U'FU or FR'F'R2UR'U'. Hope I helped!

Can the mini QJ be put back together just like a rubiks revenge? The pieces and mechanism look the same when I pop out two edges but I don't want to take it apart and not know how to put it back together.

Are type C's consistent in quality? I have 2, one of them feels nice and solid while the other creaks a lot when I apply any pressure. If I squeeze both of them, one will feel normal but the other feels like the plastic is stretching a lot and sounds awful. Is this normal for a type C?

Adjust tensions..... they have very consistent!
