what is THORSDAY???

an actual real question (though i would leik to know what thorsday is):

does anybody else have a cubetech 2x2 cube that has been modified in any way, and could you go on about explaining it?

i was thinking of putting springs so its a screw-spring, unless it already is.

Ok, I didn't want to be criticized for making a thread, so I'll post it here.
So, today is my birthday, and I got $80, and I'm wondering what I should get.
First, I want to reserve 45 dollars for a $25 Haiyan Memory Cube (I promised Haiyan to buy it and $20 Cubesmith order. The last 35 dollars is the problem. I want a 4x4 and some good 3x3's, but I can't seem to decide where and what to get. Here are some of my ideas.
Mini QJ - 8.5 dollars (or something like that from popbuying.com)
or a Mefferts - $18, but I'm not sure because I've seen people liking the both the Mefferts (QJ) and the Mini QJ.
The JSK or the Edison cube (around $23).
I wanted to ask you fellow cubers about which ones I should or shouldn't get. Thanks and happy cubing <><!

I really like my mini qj 4x4 but i havent really tried others. it doesnt cut the greatest though

@vcuber13: Hmmmm.... I'd like to get the Mini QJ if possible, because it would fit the amount of money I have. But I've heard good things about the Mefferts. Also, where would you get tiles/stickers for the Mefferts? That's another factor that keeps me from buying that cube.

its some weird brand. i haven't heard of them before toronto open winter 2010, where they gave cube tech cubes to winners, but also had them for sale.
apparently, the cube tech 3x3's can be good with proper lubrication

i opened the 2x2 cube tech (i dont have a 3x3) and it seems to be very similar to a 3x3.

Get a Mini QJ 4x4.

Instead of an expensive Edison, get an F-II.

its a cheap cube with a core, but theres no springs and jig-a-loo melts it. i figured that out the hard way
