Erik's algorithms aren't optimised for the 2x2, so I'd go with Woners.
also, rowe made a series of vids on youtube saying what alg he uses for each case and how to recognize it, it helped me tons

If you're talking about algs, use David's.
If you're talking about recognition system, go to Rowe's vid.

no use learning CLL is you can't recognize the cases

for some reason whenever i do the counter clockwise corner permutation (3x3,fridrich) it never solves itself.. but instead goes to a case where i need to do the clockwise corner permutation. HELP WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?

If it is an inverse algorithm, you need to hold it a different way.

Do either the FII, C4U, or LL 2x2 from PopBuying come with boxes?
F2 does, C4Y comes in a bag, don't know about LanLan.

YES!! A box AND a bag!! I feel so lucky...

Die.
Lookahead/Recognition in PBL tips?

I don't usually use Ortega, but if you like sq1, then R2 U R2' U' R2 U R2' U' R2 is nice to use for Y-J.

I tend to look for blocks of the same color on the sides for recognition.

Where can I get a black C II other than Cube4you(because they are out of stock) that is in USA?
ispinz sells them in his store

also, what is a good method for remembering number/letter combos in blindfold solving?

I have never found the sentance building method to be fun or quick, so I go solely by just "remembering" the patterns of the pieces. Like, if the 4 pieces coming up next are all on the bottom layer (this would be a very easy one, but it's an example), or if the pieces slowly move upwards (moderate) or you just get your fingers in place with the pieces and flash your memory camera (harder). Just ask if you still care any more.

Where are the speedstacks products being shipped from? I can't find it on their site.

ok, that makes a little sense, but i was thinking more for pairs consisting of 1 number (1-12) and 1 letter (B,G,O,R,W,Y), although i like the thought of memorizing certain patterns with it to reinforce the memory, like if the next 6 edges are 3 on the right followed by 3 on the left, but thats just a reinforcement for me, not a whole method
