Does anyone know how long a normal Cube Explorer optimal solution thing usually takes? Mine has been of 13 for half an hour.

Mines usually less than 5 seconds.

Mostly less than 1 minute, but only using the special version that uses more than 2 GB of ram. If the optimal solution is longer than 17-18 moves, it's still quite slow.
On my old pc, a pentium 4, it takes ages.

One tile is complete wrong..

Is this a puzzle defect or have I just done something wrong.

To me that looks like you have two duplicate tiles. I guess you have to print new pictures :/

Sure? I tried like half an hour to make it normal and all I got was some house-shapes. It was i'd say impossible to make it to starting position.. or solved position..

Not much corner cutting, but as far as I know most 4x4's aren't great for corner cutting either.

What? I think it's pretty good for corner cutting, the only bad thing about mini QJs for me is that I get lock ups sometimes.
