While I would recommend you doing some other puzzle, you give choices so...
roux, because you only need to blockbuild, no EOLine
but then, blockbuilding in ZZ is much simpler, and EOLine should be easy after a few hundred solves
definitely a hard decision for me if I may only choose one :/

But also it is more restricted.

But I agree, though decision. ZZ is so much fun too!

In ZZ, you can also do EOCross also? right? So he can choose ZZ over Roux as he can make crosses. It will be better than blockbuilding.
But both the methods are fast and choose whichever you want or are comfortable with!

True, but a bad EO case can take 7 moves (all mis-oriented), so the cross can be difficult to predict.

and why did you just post a 23.24 ao100 in the accomplishment thread if you now globally average 22...
Because, I failed like a nub and just couldn't look ahead. I have no idea what is happening to me. One solve I get sub 20 bang! Then the next is 28. I'm going mad about cubing. Maybe I should take a week off.

Consistency is difficult. I prefer to focus on averages of 12 where you can concentrate fully for the entire session, and don't record your long sessions of volume practice.

I know I have asked this a billion times, but why can't I improve? I have been stuck at 23 seconds for 2 months now. I have also practiced a lot.

It's posts like these that make me want to ban you if I was a mod.

I was stuck at 23 seconds for 3 YEARS. You heard that right. 3 YEARS. I think I'm an extreme case, and you probably won't take so long. But you just need to practice A LOT MORE. Do an average of 50 everyday if you can, if not 25. And stop asking how to improve. Stop.

Me too. I'm learning speedcubing since 2005 (first solved the cube in 2003 I guess). I broke the sub20 barrier, I don't know, in 2007 / 2008?

Ok, you motivate me to get faster. Sorry that I ask questions. But at least you have something. I can't do anything right in life.
I can't score well in school,am obese, suck at cubing, suck at sports, suck at Memory Sports, I misbehave a lot, my parents yell at me a lot, everybody in my area hates me,my teachers hate me,I have no friends,my color vision sucks, everybody teases me,everybody wants me to get of this forum,my grandparents always scream at me,I can't look ahead. What more do I suck at????

You have a computer with a constant internet connection...

"I misbehave a lot" really? : pacepalm :

The problem is you don't listen. People don't want you to get off of the forum, not literally, when they say that they mean stop posting the same things. Asking once is okay, people are new, they don't understand the need or importance of practice. Asking twice is a little annoying, but tolerated, we think "if people keep telling him to practice he should stop", but you repeatedly ask the same question - get the same response and ask again. You do not see new users get as negative responses as you, because we cut them slack, but clearly, based on your previous post you understand why you should not keep asking why your not improving, but do it anyway.

I spent my first few months on this forums as a silent observer. I waited over a month to create an account and after that posted rarely, I became more active as my knowledge grew. Not only because I knew more, but this increased knowledge allowed me to ask question with answers that would actually help me.

Woah! I am actually fascinated that it took people 3 year to get sub 20! No offense but I got sub 20 in 3 months so it isnt hard. I use 2 look oll and my look ahead is also not that great and f2l sucks. But still I did it, why. Because practice made me perfect. At start I did AO100 everyday(only did for a week), then AO50 when I was 40 sec and then AO12 when 25 seconds and still do AO12 daily. Just practising will get to sub 20, nothing else. And it is frustuating and I have broken 10+ cubes just because some lockup, or corner twist ot some thing things took my sub 20 avg from me. Also, you dont need the latest cubes for getting sub 20. I got my first sub 20 with Liying and it locked up on me too much!
Hope you got my point. Get off the forums and practice.! And as far as studies concerned, I did AO100 while next day was my 10th board exam and still got 90%. So concentrate on one task at a time. Cube for an hour, study for two hours. 1:2 ratio!
Hope I helped!

I wasn't trying to say that sub-20 is difficult, but I was trying to let him understand that 3 months of cubing is such a short time, that he shouldn't be worried sick.

(PS, I remember a few months ago you were really annoying on the forums... Now you aren't. Keep it up.)

Thanks for that! Yeah, I was impatient and stuff and well, I grew up! Thanks for taking care of me back then! :)
