Hey guys I was inactive cubing for about a month and a half. My times went up a few seconds like 5 on each cube besides skewb and 2x2. If i continue cubing like i did before should I be back to normal times?

depends

if you averaged 7 on 3x3 and then you stopped for a bit and now you average 12 then probably not

Let me help you: There's no reason why it shouldn't be allowed in FMC.
What I'm saying is that despite them giving no advantage in BLD events, they were still not allowed. There wasn't any reason to do that in BLD, but they still made that decision. There's also no reason why they shouldn't be allowed in FMC, yes, but if you read the regulations there's nothing about exceptions being allowed for FMC. What I'm saying is that despite it giving no advantage, they aren't allowed anyway.

It gives an advantage in BLD.
Noah even did a video (see here), where he does a BLD solve with a stickerless cube, without looking at the back side during memorization, proving that it is possible to gain an advantage (even if it would be nearly useless in practical, but you cannot say it for sure).

I've deleted and re-written this post twice now, changing what I'm saying, and I think I've decided that you're right.
But they still aren't allowed in FMC, unless I've missed something in the regulations.

He is not sub 2 do you think CN will effect his times a lot?

That wasn't what you said.

You said CN on yau is nearly useless, when I think it's very useful. I'd rather be CN any day of the week, as there are more chances of one-looking F2C and movecounts should be a lot lower. Although, if you are saying it should be nearly useless for him in particular then you're probably right.

My Shengshou 6x6 has 3 internal pieces missing (I have them and know where they are, but they aren't in the puzzle) and without them inside, it occasionally becomes impossible to turn certain layers. I don't want to have to completely disassemble the cube, because I'm terrible at assembling things, so is there any way to put the pieces back in by only taking out some of the pieces? I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't, but I really want to be able to use it for 6BLD.

What I would do is to take out just one row of wings on the U layer, and rotate the top layer so you can look to see if there are any internals missing just by looking through the slot. Then do the same to the D layer, and if there aren't any missing pieces, it must be in the E layer, and just do the same thing. It's a lot like doing it on a 4x4. I personally have never done this on a SS 6x6, but the internals aren't all that different.

Also, does anyone know what approximate time would get me to the second round at US Nats for 3x3 and 2x2?
