how long does the "sticky Phase" usually last after lubing a cube?

Not long. Depending on how much you use it shouldn't take longer than 30 0r 45 mins or so. If it doesn't go away by 2 hours than you might have used too much. Make sure you work it in well by solving or just turning the cube randomly.

my guhong will feel sticky or gummy after lubixing for a while sometimes. Sometimes a whole day or more. Do PLL time attacks, spam algs n sexies n stuff, it'll feel wonderful soon enough.

When you do an average of for example 50/100 solves.. would you count the "best average of 5/12" as your record if you luckily get a couple of good solves in a row? Or do you only count it when you do an average of 5/12, and not of 50/100?

Hold on... Z perm on D AND adjacent swap on U? So three edge swaps? Isn't that impossible. Sorry for my ignorance if I'm wrong.

Third one is fastest for me btw. Right hand for U and D and left ring for M.

Yeah there's also an opposite swap somewhere but opposite swaps don't matter for what that alg is doing. (for the separation step in that random method I posted earlier)

Hm.. I see. However the alg for this would be pretty long.
When I did it, I basically did L/R edges after columns to build a roux block on top then do x2 y or something then solve like roux. I found this much quicker, and in the process, pieces can be separated. You then get the advantage of avoiding 'parity' and ease of fingertricks. Just a suggestion though. I only managed a sub-30 with it...

For the three algs, dont bother with RUD; it's long. Do the third MUD alg you posted. It goes quite smoothly for me.

I'll be getting a 2x2, 4x4, and 5x5 today , and was wondering if these were good choices:

2x2: LanLan
4x4: ShengShou V3 (Have V1, but I get internal pops, or have to set it way to tight.)
5x5: Shengshou

I would get a V-cube 2 and 5 but I just don't have that much cash atm.
Also is the Shengshou 4x4 V3 a lot better than the V1 or is it worth sticking with the V1?
