i'm really confused, sorry to be a complete noob :(

i can solve the rubik's cube consistently sub-minute using beginner method and im learning F2L and fridrich atm
but i want to get a good cube because at the moment i only have a standard store cube
1, what are the different makes/manufactures of cubes? (like you get ford and jaguar makes or cars, same applied to rubik's cubes)
2, which of these makes are best?
3, what types of cubes do these companies make? (car analogy again, fords make fiesta and mondeos and jags make XK's and e-types)
4, which of these makes are the best?
5, your overall favourite cube? pros & cons?
6, which website to buy it from?? cube4you??
7, are these cubes good? Why/Why not?

what are some good brands of 5x5?
i have a vcube 5,but it is not that good,it is still very stiff, and needs more intensive breaking in.
Is the ghosthand 5x5 good?

I personally like my Ghost Hand 5x5, but I've never touched a V Cube 5 so I can't compare for you... It's very loose so when you're turning it you kind of have to be cautious that the inner corners don't get flipped over and lock up... But it's fast and can cut corners pretty good.

1. Some cube companies include DaYan, Alpha, Type F, Type C, Diansheng, Ghost Hand, Cube4You, Mf8, Maru, Shengshou, MuFang, YJ, Haiyan, Edison, LanLan, and Type D
sorry for my ignorance, i dont know how to navigate this site and this seemed an appropriate place to post it
2. I would say the better companies include DaYan, Alpha, Type F, Type C, and Haiyan.
4. I would say the best cubes are Haiyan's Haiyan, Haiyan Memory, Alpha V, Alpha V-f, Alpha II, Alpha III-f, DaYan GuHong (amazing), GaYan LingYun (also amazing), Type C(III), Type F(II), and Mini Type C.
5. My favoite is the GuHong. Cuts corners amazing, reverse corner cuts amazing, never locks up, turns perfect (when lubed). Cons: Neds to be lubed with lubix, expensive.
6. You can buy good cubes at either www.cubedepotusa.com www.icubemart.com or www.speedcubeshop.com

I was looking around the cubers from my country and found this video of a 4x4 solve.
At 0:25 suddenly the edges and centers are solved and solver proceeds to 3x3 phase.
What method was he solving with?

MF8 has now a ball core desing on both puzzles, maybe will post a video review if it is the sq-1 that comes in my order.

Please somebody answer my question:

I just ordered a Square-1 and it's my first one. What is a good method to start with? A tutorial would be great too. I also ordered some 2x2s so I need a good method for that. What would be an equivalent path from beginner's method to speedsolving method for 2x2? Like for 3x3 it may be Beginner's LBL-->F2L with Beginner's LL-->F2L+4-look LL-->F2L+PLL=2LOLL-->Full Fridrich. That's a progression into Fridrich but would 2x2 look something more like Fridrich corners LBL-->Ortega-->????
