And don't discount the role of randomness in all of this. Sometimes you'll get 5 good solves in a row and then 5 bad solves. Sometimes they'll be mixed together.

I remember reading about the Face Permute method in the wiki back when I used a dumb lbl method. Considering out of the 4 sets of 5 algs each, I know 1 set, plus 2 algs, so it'd be 13 algs I don't know, I MIGHT be interested in learning this method, as I got a 1.49 first face a5, if I can have decent last step+tips, this, combined with the fact I already know l4e, could become fast

Before I go and generate the algorithms to see how fast they are, is there anyone that has already generated them all? Thanks in advance.

Meh, I went to the local hardware store yesterday, they only had wd40 or 3-in-1 sillicon spray (also wd40 brand), but I've read both are terrible. What are some alternatives which are more likely to find (unlike jigaloo or crc heavy duty )? Some people use floor polish? I already ordered some maru lube, but this lube wears off rather fast...

edit: there are two spray cans on lightake, does anyone have any experience with these? They are rather expensive though. And I also wonder if lightake can ship such cans to Europe? :confused:

I believe This is used by many asian cubers and considered to be very good. Im not sure about the can being shipped to Europe.

I've read that the lube you mentioned costs around 3$ if you buy it in stores in Japan. I don't understand how it is that expensive on lightake.

Both of those are genuine Stackmat timers.

As far as Stackmat or QJ, it's just opinion really, search for "QJ Timer" and you'll get all sorts of posts about them.

Oh. It took about a year for mine to die. You just replace the battery. CR2032 is the battery I believe.

Rubik's doesn't make clocks anymore, but they sell the knockoff on lightake.

I would suggest shock oil, if you can get your hands on any.

Also, is there away I can tighten my 7x7, an oblique (I think thats what there called) pops out like 2 times a solve
