Can someone link me to an english video for the pyraminx. Not monkeydudes but a fast one.

EDIT: A tutorial.

Does anyone have a haiyan cube that has similar characteristics with mine?
Spring is very noisy
Corners catch on the center pieces, causing it to lock up a lot
From your description, I'm assuming you're talking about the Hiayan - Hiayan (as opposed to the memory).

Mine is really loud! Clack! Clack, Clack! I feel a little bit bad for anyone in a 100m radius whenever I use it! =p

As for locks, the only locks I ever really get are edge on edge (ie, two adjacent edges on the same layer) and that's only if, say, I'm trying to do a R turn with the B face incorrectly aligned. Having said that, I do get occasional corner on centre locks as you described. To be honest, it doesn't lock up so often for me.

In general, I think the Hiayan cube is good but if it does lock up you can't force your way through it; you've got to abort the turn, back up and try again! =p Which can be a pain. I'm a huge fan of the memory, though.

A5b) While inspecting or solving the puzzle, the competitor must not have any assistance from anyone or any object (other than the surface). Penalty: disqualification of the solve.

is the stackmat part of the surface?

anyone?

Only if you're turning it with the stackmat.

How do I make my stackmat glow in the dark?!?! Or is that only for the black version :o

The only stackmat that glows in the dark is the black one, not the 2nd generation one with the port for a timer display.

Here is my question:

What should I learn after a 4-Look Last Layer?

Make sure you know the 7 cross cases, the Us, As, H and Z. Then I would learn the Gs, Y, and T. And for OLLs (after the Gs, Y, and T) the Ms / Ws and the cases with all corners oriented, and finally full pll.

What are these...?

I think he meant the OLL's with edges already oriented. Sune, double sune, etc.

As far as I know, he should know these if he knows 4LLL though...

My QJ 4x4x4 is very loose. I tried tightening a screw I found on the core but could not tight it more... What could I do?

It's so hard not to overshoot. Double turns in one ''hit'' is so easy.

Did it seem to get like that over a long period of time, or did it just all-of-a-sudden happen?
I received maybe 3 weeks ago. Solved it like 10 times. It was fairly loose but could not cornercut, so I lubed it with Jigaloo. Now it turns like crazy, but is toooooo loose.

Ya I meant the 7 "cross" OLLs (sune, anti-sune, Pi, etc)

Mine was too loose so I tightened the screw all the way and now it's too tight :( hmm maybe clean it out a bit?

doesn't the gunk make it slower? there's more friction, so shouldn't it be tighter than a completely clean cube?

Nope*. I just tried to tighten in even more. Did not do much at all... The only thing I can think about is maybe I should put on a longer screw in it...
