He told me that he switched to Roux.
Of course, his times are gonna go back up.

Any tips on getting faster with ortega? I've got my average down to around 4.5 and I feel like I either need to turn faster or predict my OLL more often.

try doing a pbl time attack. sub-6 would be pretty nice. And try to do the first face as most efficiently as possible, it still amazes me how some cases can be solved in such a "cool" way. and oll prediction is very useful. you don't necessarily need to predict the entire oll case but something like 0 dot, 1 dot, 2 adj dot, 2 opp dot would be quite helpful too.

EDIT: learn some pbls from different angles from woner's site. Also if you are using R' F R2 U' R2 F R for the Pi case, you can force pbl skip about 1/4 of the time. unintentional EG ftw :D Also learn some CLL cases would be good too, I recently learned all the double superman cases and they're all pretty nice.

EDIT2: I hope you are looking ahead to the permutation of the bottom layer during inspection...

Of course not, you weren't the one switching up my posts and typing up unsolicited crap.

My Question!!!

I basically planned out this 546893 paragraph question while I was raking the yard, but I decided that a short one might be better, sooooooooo.....;

If the inner edges of the pieces of a cube were sanded down (like the AV mod) except at a 45 degree angle (instead of just rounded) wouldn't it turn better/lock up less than the AV mod?

(If pics are needed I'll make some in MSPaint.)

So I was doing the Pi Mod and I'm doing the pins and a bit of glue got in the core. Now I've been twisting and turning it but that side is still way slower than the others? Is there any way I can fix this?

Is there a cube simulator that doesn't require the internet (downloadable) that has keyboard controls and is similar to hi-games.net?
