I got mine for less than 3 CAD i think :p

I just pop an edge and spray, and sometimes I get even lazier and just spray in the gaps between pieces

WHERE IS THIS MAGICAL PLACE THAT SELLS JIG-A-LOO FOR LESS THAN 3 DOLLARS?

Oh well, I'm pretty happy with sub-5. ;) It should last me a while.
iMENARDS!

I GOT IT AS LOW A $0.79 CENTS USD EACH!!!@!@!@!@! LOL OMG LFMAO GO GET YRS TODAY!@!

Seriously.

Actually?

I have limited my speedsolving puzzle collection to 2x2-5x5 cubic puzzles, mainly because of hardware issues and the fact that I don't want to have puzzles I can't speedsolve in comps.

I already have 3x3 and 2x2 thought out, but should I would ok getting good at 3x3 and 2x2 before I move on to 4x4, and then wait untill I'm good at that before I move on to 5x5? Or should I just work on all 4 at the same time?

What is a good 5x5 method for intermediate-ish solvers. I can solve the 5x5 in about 4 minutes (or something) using centers normally, and then pairing up the edges one by one.

I recommend starting to learn advanced edge pairing or something like that.

You should try to get your centers down, by doing something like this:
First Center:
middle center, and 2 edges to make a 1x3 bar. For another 1x3 bar, and insert it. Then form a last 1x3 bar and insert it to complete the white center. Do this for the rest of the centers, and then get quick at doing commutators for the last 2 centers, i.e. 2 center piece flip.

For edges, try this. I use that method, and the center method described above, and can get about 1:50-2:05.

I think it would cost more in gas for me to drive an hour and a half to the Menards in Columbia then to just go to Home Depot which is 10 minutes away.

Thank you so much I will look into that. Do you know what method faz or other high-level big-cube cubers use?

I got my Taiyan and one side of the core won't screw tight. Once I get it to a certain stop inside it, it will just spin and spin and won't get tighter...
Is there anyway to fix that?

Hmm... same thing happened to my old D. The core is broken, so I'm waiting for a new core from C4U.

Can you tell if it's the core, or the screw?
