What do you get if you win a competition? You get money, a new cube or what?
Also, COLL is for corners, then what is like COLL but for edges?
And I am thinking, instead of learning OLL, COLL and the other COLL for edges would be beneficial or just OLL?

Most of the time you get some sorta Trophy/plack/certificate. Depending on who is helping to sponsor it they will provide some extra prizes like if Lubix sponsors it then some of the prizes will be Lubix lube, Lubix Guhong ECT.

COLL is for twisting the corners which ever way they need to be twisted and permuting them in the same algorithm when the edges are already oriented. Therefore leaving an EPLL (Ua, Ub, H and Z-Perm)
CLL is for the same thing but it won't preserve the edge orientation, therefore leaving an ELL which flips the edges that needs to flipped and solves them in the same alg.

Hope this helped!

There's no point in learning "COLL for edges", by that, I'm assuming you mean "edge orientation of LL + permutation", because a CO skip is much rarer and harder to force than an EO skip. You shouldn't really learn COLL if you don't use a method with all edges oriented or integrate a LS+EO method into a method like CFOP, because one-look OLL and one-look PLL is faster than EOLL (without permutation), COLL, and than EPLL.

Ah, yeah, that's true... For me, I think I'd be shunned from the Roux community of I didn't use M2 edges, haha.
Well if you haven't ever learned PLL, there's be no point in you specifically learning it for OP, so I see no reason why you shouldn't use M2 other than you know 3-style... but you may want to learn some PLLs because they're useful for solving parity.

Solving 3BLD parity? I only have one parity algorithm memo'd for 3BLD, and it's the edges first algorithm, which is definitely not PLL: D' L2 D M2 D' L2 D

Is there a reason to know more?

It's useful for making your own parity alg if you choose your own buffer for 3-style. It won't be as useful to you now, but later knowing a few PLLs is helpful.

Glow in the dark vinyl stickers? Has such a thing even been considered? Any links?
