Didnt come with a weak battery, it didnt come with a battery at all actually. I placed a few new ones in.

So where to get a gen2 speedstack timer with a pc port to Europe and do the gen3 pro timers really suck bad? I just saw bens video where a timer failed continuosly.

Well then I don't know what to do than

Do you have to replace an internal before stopping the timer in comp?

My gut feeling is no, just wanted to double check.
BTW WeiSu performs pretty well with in internal missing.

Your question was answered to but I just wanted to add that the weisu pretty much stops popping at good tensions after you have broken it in for quite a bit. I havent seen a pop after I finished setting mine up. It has probably like 600-700 solves done, it's lubed well and tensioned well. Pops used to happen once every 10-15 solves, now it's closer to 1 in 75

I'm about 150 solves in and have only popped 3 times. Twice a single internal and once an edge, centre and internal.

Haven't opened her up yet to set her up properly though.

Here are some splits of an Ao12 3x3 solve:

(Cross, F2L insertion, LL) = Total time
(3.03, 9.05, 6.49) = 18.57
(3.34, 7.86, 7.30) = 18.5
(2.36, 8.90, 6.86) = 18.12
(3.00, 10.71, 7.54) = 21.25
(2.99, 7.89, 5.68) = 16.56
(4.45, 6.89, 4.69) = 16.03
(3.43, 9.61, 3.23) = 16.27
(1.73, 9.33, 5.57) = 16.63
(5.42, 8.67, 6.37) = 20.46
(2.58, 6.86, 8.25) = 17.69
(3.58, 7.79, 5.41) = 16.78
(1.84, 8.09, 8.05) = 17.98

The splits arent 100% accurate as I could see the F2L case when stopping the timer after cross and the same applies to LL, so actually the F2L insertion and LL times should be a bit longer to consider my reaction times.

I'm fairly sure my problem is the cross times since sometimes my LL = my cross time. Has anyone been at the same point as me and do you guys have any tips as how I should move on from here in terms of practice? Or is the cross the problem at all and should I just focus on F2L insertions? I'm not improving in LL, the difference between a low 5 and a high 8 second is not knowing the OLL case and stumbling whilst figuring each case. Learning full OLL would probably drop me to a steady 5sec LL.

I am making yet another return to cubing and I was wondering, have any groundbreaking new cubes been released? I left about 10 months ago and I have heard that new cubes such as the CX3 and the Moyu cubes have been released that are able to compete with the Dayan Guhong and Zhanchi. The Panshi being released may have an impact for the title of best 3x3 on the market. My question is, what is the best 3x3 cube? The same question for 2x2s and 4x4s is asked from me as well? If anyone could list them, that would be of great help to me.

PS Any rule changes that I should know about. I do not know the new rules for plus 2 but I heard they have changed.

Bump

Oh and say if they're too fast or a couple pops and smooth/crispy thanks!

^ to add on:

Weilong is really good. It's super fast (uncontrollable), really good stock stickers, never pops, never locks up, and is really smooth. CX3 is basically the same. It's a little too loud for me but it's more controllable than the weilong. It's also a lot crunchier/less smooth than the weilong (but I did just get my CX3 a few days ago and only did about 300 solves on it so that could change). I get about the same times with both. Both do need the paper trick to keep center caps in (for me, it was only one specific cap on both cubes that had a problem, other caps were fine).

As for 2x2 and 4x4, dayan 2x2 is good but it's not really needed unless you really want a zhanchi feeling 2x2 that performs the same as the wittwo and the new moyu weisu 4x4 is good (other than the pops).

Your LL is very fast at your speed. Mine was the same until I learned some OLL and drilled for a few days, so don't worry there. You definitely need a faster cross, go for sub 2. Ideally, I'd say you want to aim for a 10~ Cross + f2l. The best way to accomplish this is to cut out the pauses from cross to f2l. If I can see a video of you solving, I can help you a lot more though!

Hmm... Riddle me this: I average 23. 14-16 for f2l, 7 second LL, averaging around 3 for PLL. What should I work on?

If you use Full PLL, try and make all algs sub 3. Don't worry about full OLL for awhile. Your f2l should definitely be faster. Try to get 12-13 to start, eventually you'll want to end up with sub 10 f2l. Your LL is honestly fine for now, just spam TPS as much as possible.

Alright. Do you have any better g-perms? I still have rotations in mine :P
