Why does David Woner keep saying stinky poop in the word association thread?
Someone help me out here, I'm really stuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's because it's a stupid thread and he wants it to get closed. That's my guess.

I think so as well. I thought that the point of the story threads and the cubing word association threads was to be funny but I didn't find them funny at all...

What should I get?
http://www.cubeforyou.com/471_Cube4you-3x3x3-DIY-Speed-Cube(ABS-Color).html

or
http://cgi.ebay.com/New-White-Eastsheen-Rubiks-Cube-2x2x2_W0QQitemZ350160131235QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item51872b94a3&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72:1205|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50

I was learning towards the 2x2, but only because I was going to use it for a competition. But my mom already signed me up without it.

So now i kinda want a new 3x3, my store-bought rocks, and never pops, but I want a new one anyway.

Also, I chose the cheapest Cube4You cube because I only have about 10 dollars to spend.

My (Rubik's) 4x4 is a good substitute for a 2x2, so I don't mind waiting for a 2x2.

Should I get the Eastsheen 2x2 or the Cube4You 3x3?

just take it in your hand luggage

And make sure it's less than 3 ounces of course. And that you don't have anything that's over 3 ounces at all, because then they'll look through your bag and probably throw away any small containers of flammable oils that you have

Otherwise you should be fine.

hmm...
I just got a CY4 cube, and I'm a bit disappointed with it.
I've been playing around with the tension, but maybe it's just not my style.

ES 2x2 in my opinion. Then do the screw-spring mod on it and lube it with Food Grade CRC silicone.

EDIT: @soccerking, there are two cases in Fridrich that orient all four corners in the top layer, if that's what you meant. If you meant ALL corners, I would assume there would be six cases, but I'm not sure.

A question. How many possible cases are there for full corner orientation? Like, orienting all the corners on a cube.

3^7 = 2,187 CO possible cases

If you don't understand the 3^7 (you should) read below:

A corner has three possible orientations, hence the three. There are 8 corners, each with 3 possible orientations, so we have

3^8

But because of restrictions, we have to divide by three, so

(3^8) / 3

which simplifies to

3^7 or 2,187

6 cases for all corners? Where do you get that number from?
