Is there a simple way to reduce the pausing time between triggers?

For example the Y Permutation is basically 2 OLLs, I inevitably pause between them. Trying not to pause messes up my execution of the alg.
Similar things happen with other OLL and PLL cases for me.

So I guess you use this alg for Y perm:
F (R U' R' U') (R U R' F') * (R U R' U') (R F R' F')

And you pause at the *. I suggest you do a lot of drilling and eventually there won't be a pause anymore. I think an effective way of drilling would be to practice this way:
From above alg, I will name the triggers by numbers so the alg will be
F (1)(2)(3)(4)
So I will drill (2)(3) because you pause between those two triggers. Do that until no pause. Then try full alg. If this is too much, do (2)(3)(4). Try (1)(2)(3). This is just an example. The basic idea is to cut it into a very small section and just work on the pause so it's eliminated and then expand to include the surrounding moves/triggers. The faster you can execute, the better. But start small.

If I use that alg, I usually pause before the last move or two, during trigger 4. I don't like sledgehammers. But now, I only use that alg for BLD, which doesn't have the last move so I don't have that problem :) But how do you fingertrick sledgehammers? Mine are really slow, and I use one in a PBL alg for 2x2. It's one of my two slowest (that and Y perm).

R F R' F' sledgehammer... I basically perform it as l' U R U'. During l' I let go of my left thumb as soon as the turn begins and place it back on what used to be the D face.

I have a couple of my own questions but about 5x5:
1) Which is better? Yau or Reduction?
2) How good is the SS 5x5? Does it compare to the SS 4x4?

Edit: For the sledgehammer thing I mentioned, I mostly only use that fingertrick for the end of the Y perm and similar things because the left hand is in an awkward position so I would use it if there's nothing afterwards.

I also mostly used that at the end of the Y perm, for the exact same reason. But it annoys me because it's at the beginning of my 2x2 alg (R' F.R F' R U2' R' U R U2' R'). The F' R isn't bad, but it's the R F' that I don't like. I have to regrip to something weird to make it flow well (right index to FUR, right thumb to BDR). But I use R' U' R F2 R' U R,d,R2 U' R2 U' R2 for Y perms now, so I no longer have the problem of regripping. Except for two very small ones that barely make a difference.

1. Yoshinator has a video about this.
2. I'm getting mine later today, but I can't answer you yet.

Im wanting to find another way to do LL after transitioning to ZZ. Ive been looking at ZZ-b and ZZ-d but I dont know what way would be the best. ZZ-d looks interesting but Ive read that its impractical for speedcubing, but Im not sure if I should jump from OLL/PLL straight to ZZ-b. Im not sure if all of the algorithms that Ive already memorized such as sune and antisune will transition over. What step should I take?

My fangshi shuang ren DIY got set with 54.6mm stickers, and it's a 57mm cube. I realized after seeing other peoples videos. I can't look ahead at all. Will lightake send replacements, or is it something so minor that they won't?

I suggest asking them. The customer service lady is very helpful in my experience.

17*17

17*17 is the largest cube sold. where can I find out how to solve
8*8, 9*9, 10*10, 11*11, 12*12, 13*13, 14*14, 15*15, 16*16, 17*17? My search on youtube and google hasn't had
any luck of me finding out how to solve those
just information about them

Hello, I am currently trying to get sub-30 times, and was told to "check my auf's". What exactly does that mean?

Thank You in advance

AUF is Adjust Up Face - the U moves you do between last layer algs to set up the right angles. Some people have a bad habit of spamming moves here and doing stuff like U U2 U' when they could just do U2.

Solving a cube bigger than a 5x5 is the same as solving a 5x5, for the most part.
