To fellow Englishmen...can anyone suggest a brand and place to buy a silicone based lube? All my search results are coming up with american brands/locations or the more official lubes which look massively over priced lol

Anyone? Going to answer my questions:
What are Faz' PBs?
What is the Traxxas equivalent of Reely 5000 and Reely 30000?

depends on what scale reely measure their viscosity. If they use weight like traxxas then 30000 = 30k traxxas and 5k is a bit over half more viscous than traxxas 10k which means very watery. Basically useful for big order cubes. 30k would work perfect on 3x3 pieces too.

I don't know if it's the same scale, since Reely Diff Oil goes from 1K to 50K . . .
Does anyone know Reely?

Based on what I found on ze interwebs it seems to work on the same scale as traxxas.

Also Florian Kreyssig uses 50,000 Reely on his 5x5s apparently (probably in the core) which gives further credibility to my claim. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=e9E0SFr-LiA#t=55 )

So the most useful viscosities would be the same as with Traxxas. 5k is too low for most purposes; 30k and 50k would be a better pair to choose.

I have 5K maybe use it for the core and get 30K for pieces, or what other combo would you suggest? (e.g. 30K for pieces, 50K for core?)

Core would need 50k to be perfect; basically high viscosity (= thick lube)

Pieces on 3x3 would ideally need something between 30k and 50k, I like an equal mix of the two which amounts to around 42-43k. 30K works too but it makes the cube too fast for my liking.

Anything runnier than 30k works best on big complex puzzles with a lot of pieces. 10k is very runny as is and I'd rather use a mix of 30k and 10k rather than just 10k on big puzzles. 30k works on big puzzles as is, but it could be a little runnier if you want a speedier outcome.

If you can only afford 2 lubes, I'd suggest something like 30k and 50k or maybe 20k and 50k if possible (Because 30k might be a tad high for big cubes. Mixing 50k and 20k with the right ratios gives you a lube between 20k and 50k which covers all of the cubic puzzles from 2x2 to 7x7). You can just mix the diff oils to make perfect viscosities for your cubes.

Use this calculator to figure out the exact ratios for the lubes: http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/oil_mixer.html

Is is worth it for me to go to comps? I only do 3x3 . . .

I am buying new stickers from thecubespecialists.com. How many sets should I buy per cube (how quickly do they wear off?) since I don't want to order that often because of shipping?

I'm pretty new to 2x2 (I just got one about a month ago) and I'm pretty bad at it- I average usually around 9s with Ortega.
Session average: 8.18
1. 8.98 F2 U R2 F R2 F' R U2 R'
2. (9.32) R U' R F2 U2 R' F' R2 U2
3. (6.42) U' R2 F2 R U F U2 R U2
4. 8.24 U' F R2 U' F' R U2 R U
5. 7.33 R F2 U2 F' U F2 R2 F' U'
I do want to get really fast at 2x2, so I think eventually I will learn full EG (I don't mind algs at all). I was wondering when I should start to learn CLL algs for EG. I've noticed that my times are usually pretty variable and that my rate of improvement has slowed quite a bit.
