That depends on what method you use. If you solve on side, then do OLL, then yes. If you orient all the corners then sort them out, then maby if your very good, but most people who are very good use EG or CLL.
 
OK so I have not solved a cube in like 4 months and feel like I might be out of the loop a little. I was just wandering if there are any new popular methods or algorithms. I have heard of a like first or edges first method in the few minutes i have been on the site. Idk could someone maybe tell me what those are all about and maybe any new cube fads that are going on? thanks :)

When can/should I re lube my cube. I'm not sure if it is necessary because I use Lubix. I haven't done anything to it (after my first lube) for close to 7-8 months and that's why I'm curios. I don't want to waste lube if it wont help me. So thanks if you know anything or have a suggestion!

No, no good new methods. Of course there are always new methods but usually they aren't as fast as the good old ones ;)
I recommend relubing it when you feel like it is slower then before. Just take it apart, clean out the old lube and dirt inside and relube.

Not yet but V-cubes made a stickerless 7x7 but he center most piece and the corners are 1 color as of right now Dayan or WitEden is going to make a Stickerless 4x4 soon. and Why would you want one besides the going to be banned in a WCA Comp.

One reason why is because just look at a Dayan 3x3 the edges and corners can be split up into seprate parts and most big cube Don't have that

How is sub-x defined?
Like sub-20 for example; is it
(a) you average under 20 (session averages and stuff)
or
(b) you rarely get solves that aren't sub-20 (like one in 10)

cause for (a) i'm sub 14, but for (b) im sub 15.

edit: i specifically mean for talking about someone's cubing speed, not the speed of an average or single.

whatever you want, doesnt really matter. I say that I average whatever I would expect to get if I did an average of 100, which is about 12.5 on real 3x3, but I still get 18s sometimes.
