Everyone will tell you shengshou for both. I still recommend the V-cube 5 though if you are willing to pay a bit more.
As for shops that ship to the UK, I recommend puzzleaddictions.com (Paid shipping, but easy to contact and good prices) and hknowstore.com (slow shipping, but quite cheap). If you choose the V-cube 5 over the SS, you can only buy them at V-cubes.com
HKnowstore has free shipping, and quite a good choice of puzzles. Also, I have never lost something I've ordered from them. Lightake has had stuff lost in the post for me before.
Someone recommend me a Sq-1 please. I have a MF8 V2 and it's not so great. Which one should I get?

The line blurs if you practice. I think the best way to learn is to do intuitive until you get really comfortable with it, then go and look up algorithms and figure out what they're doing. It's very easy to get into the habit of doing things inefficiently.
I've been using a regular store bought Rubik's, with lube and a bit of sanding. It works pretty well, but my stickers are begining to wear out. Nothing too serious (I think), just that the colors are fading, the clear coatings are starting to come off, and the edges are peeling a bit. I'm going to get a DaYan within a month, so I won't be using my Rubik's much longer, but I was wondering if getting new stickers would improve my times or look ahead. The only time I notice me slowing down is when I'm on PLL, and a case comes up in which the center red cubie is next to the two orange corner cubies. It only takes a second or two longer to notice this, but I am wondering if getting new stickers would be worth the extra seconds.
