Why in your opinion are "bad" cubes better for beginners than "better" cubes?!
That is complete nonsense!
Which part of it doesn't make sense to you? Fridrich has a lot of parts:hey im new to cubing and know the beginers mehtoud i want to learn fredrich but it doesnt make sense to me if you could teach me over skype or something send me a pm plz
Sorry man. It took me more time to learn 4ll friedrich than four days. I dont think you can get sub one layer by layer, either. Cubing takes patience.
Fridrich method is considered to be the fastest and is most widely used. Getting your times down to sub-60 in a short period of time and with a rubik's brand cube may be tough for you if not impossible. And it is fast, so fast, that i now have to learn some finger tricks so i can be able to use it's full potential. Any suggestions? i am hoping to make it down to sub minute by tuesday.
Any methods that would be fast? Currently just LBL, i am trying out F2L though, should be done by tommorow.
I disagree, bad habits come naturally through practice. Trying to look for special finger-tricky ways to do algorithms, learning ways to do frequent moves fast is something you should read and try to learn, and it doesn't come naturally.Fridrich method is considered to be the fastest and is most widely used. Finger tricks, however, are something you can't "learn" or so, they mostly come naturally through practice. As someone said before then watching some faster solvers do it in slow motion may help but keep in mind that their finger tricks may not be the fastest for you.
It all boils down to practice, eventually.
Well, yes, there are exceptions and that trick in particular which you mentioned is one of my favourites. I don't know about other cubers, but when I switched from beginner's method to Fridrich I started learning more algorithms. I practiced them and in the beginning I was sluggish. As time went on I figured out how to make my execution of the algorithms faster and started developing finger tricks by myself without the need to read some texts.I disagree, bad habits come naturally through practice. For example, doing R' U R' really fast is something I learned by reading somewhere, it's done by placing the right hand index finger on the DBR corner and the right hand thumb on the UR edge, then while doing the R' turn you have to push with the index finger so even before you finish the first R' turn, the U turn will happen quickly and once it's done you continue to do the R' turn so you get R' U R' which feels like you did just an R2.
I personally would have never picked that up by myself just from practice, it's something I read which helped me a lot.
I also started F2L with a 1:30 regular method average, maybe a bit less than that, but I got to less than a min after practicing F2L for a few days.Okay, down to three days, and i know simple intuitive f2l, and i am down to the time i had before (about 1:30-2:00 and i know that is a big difference) so i will just have to practice different fingertrick for EVERY move i do.
If any of you know a method of speeding up that would almost definitely get me under a minute, i would have to work my butt off, but i could do it. ( i have about 30 hours to work with)
How many people know full CLL + EG-1?
Probably a fair amount. I knew all of them at some point and I'm lolslow
Im guessing the most of the sub-10 solvers on the WCA page for 3x3
