How do you perfectly tension a wit two? It keeps internally popping with 3 rings when you pull them apart and the corner cutting isn't good if it's any tighter.

Which PLL algorithms should I use

Hello everybody...I know 2 look pll and don't want to learn full PLL just yet...does anyone know a faster way of pll between Full pll and 2 look pll? Thanks!!

Just start learning a few PLL's as you go along. 21 may sound a lot, but many are mirrors, and you will learn them in no time without even trying.

Just learn them, unfortunately. The time period between learning all 21 and only knowing a few will be unpleasant, but it's doable. Also, some of them are very similar to one another, Badmephisto's site groups them well (although his F perm is nasty).

For example, T perm is this: R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U' R U R' F'
J(b) is the same, but with the R U R' F' at the end moved to the start: R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U'
And the F perm I use is R' U' F' [T-perm] F U R

I'm just re working all my Pll's atm, thats the F-perm Feliks uses is it not? Tempted to swap.

I average around 45-50 for 4x4. I use Yau. On an average solve, here are my splits:
First 2 Centers: 4-5
3 cross dedges: 7-10
Rest of centers: 8-10
Rest of edges: 10-20 (Varies a lot)
3x3: 10-20 (Depends on Parity)

Is acetone good/safe for removing sticker residue?

If acetone is nail polish remover wich I used on a cube, if you apply too much pressure with it, it can cause some slight damage(nothing major, just a few streaks in the shape of my finger). Although, I only used it on a white cube so maybe the plastic is different. Just a personal experience. Not sure how well it removes sticker residue though.

Also, when you guys watch solve videos, do you like to hear random music like www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwjQKDGtQ-A or the clicking of the cube?

I've been painting cubes with nail polish and it sticks incredibly well. So I have no doubt that acetone will dissolve cubes. Nail "polish" (which really is "fingernail lacquer") uses ethyl acetate as the solvent.

Most recently I top coated with an enamel and the result came out very well. Maybe 200 solves and no visible damage; I think they might outlast stickers.

Based on what I can see in the picture, to me it looks legal. It looks like for any given type of piece, they're all the same, and if that's so, then it should be legal.

What kind of cube are you trying to tension? For even cubes you stick the screwdriver in the middle inbetween the pieces, and for odd cubes they will most likely have center caps that you take off. A screw will then be revealed.

Guys, I remember Breandon saying he did something different when he sub 1's all his PLLs and I've seen Hexeadron's 1sec PLLs. Is it just practice that gets all your PLLs that fast or is there more that has to be done to get them that fast?
